There is no pour spout or notch. The cups are round. I returned them because quality was extremely poor. The handles were easily bent and not attached securely. Absolutely not up to Cuisinart standards.

Are the measurement labels etched in the handle or painted on?

Not etched, but I don't believe they are painted either. The size marks are on the handles of each. They read very well and mine are still look as good as they did when I received them. Hope this helps

Does this come in a box?

Other than the regular packing box - no it is not in a box. The measuring cups are held together by a rung which goes through a hole in the handle of each cup but there is no storage case or bag for them.
