Does “strawberry powder” literally mean strawberries that have been grinder? I know another product has tapioca starch does this have it?

There is no way this is actually freeze dried strawberry. Look at actual freeze dried strawberry powder and it is far more expensive than this. This is likely a starch with flavoring added. To get 8oz of real powder you’d need 5lbs of strawberries and around 24-36hours of freezing in a commercial machine. $10? No way.

Country of origin of strawberries?

I emailed them the other day, and they told me that the strawberry powder is currently sourced from China.

What kind of drying / carrier agent used? What percentage?

The product is freeze-dried and so I don't believe there is anything used to dry or add as carrier agent. You could check out their website, www.naturerestore.com. I looked there but they didn't list anything except the strawberries.

How many equilvalent strawberries in a a pack?

Whole freeze dried strawberries have about a 10-1 ratio to fresh strawberries. Our product is freeze-dried strawberry powder so it is difficult to determine exactly how many strawberries since they also come in different sizes. The powder has a natural strawberry flavor for many uses.
