Kuvik Titanium Wood Stove - Ultralight and Compact Stove for Backpacking, Camping, and Survival

I’ve taken this out on two backpacking trips now, and I love it. It’s light, easy to assemble and disassemble, and it can crank out enough heat to boil water quickly. I carry a little bottle of rubbing alcohol to get it lit in wet conditions, and it gets the job done with whatever I can find around.

Used it on a backpacking trip this week. Lightweight and works great. Our primus canister leaked out fuel. This kit saved us from eating cold mountain house.

Great little stove. Folds up flat and is light for a survival pack! Tested it and it boiled water pretty quickly. Do make sure you have a way to cut little sticks when you are out in the wilderness!

This rather unusual stove seems to be very well made, but has absolutely no instructions included. So, one needs time and patience to assemble it, and I would recommend a dry assembly run at home before attempting to do so in the woods. I was intrigued by the design so I decided to order it, but returned it the same day after thinking it through. The main problem I have with the stove is its limited application in the field. Here in Arizona, there always seem to be fire restrictions which makes this stove completely useless on those occasions. Maintaining the fire would be another issue. I can set my butane stove up and the flame remains constant without any interference from me. The same cannot be said for this stove as the fire would always need to be checked and maintained in order to accomplish the cooking task at hand. If you're only boiling water it's probably not an issue. Then there is the removing and replacing the pan on the fire so as not to burn whatever is in the pot. At first I thought it was an interesting idea, but then I realized that my existing butane stoves were a much better choice for my needs. I returned the stove the same day it was delivered. Maybe I'll reconsider its purchase when the drought in the western US is no more.

Very well engineered design. Everything fits together beautifully. Just the right size to cook on burn anything.

great product, a little bigger could be much better and won't increase weight that much ...

It is crazy how good it works. Packs up extra thin but when assembled it is robust and strong.

Easy to assemble-I was blown away by how fast it boiled a qt of water! Just small twigs is all it takes. This is my new favorite stove.
