Amazing product!
My husky has a serious zinc deficiency. Before diagnosis, her growth had been stunted, and she had lost most of the fur around her eyes and mouth. She was very lethargic and had little appetite. Once her vet finally figured out the problem, he had prescribed her some beef flavored zinc pills. They were huge, smelled like bullion, and she hated them. She is very difficult to feed to begin with, so those pills caused her and I BOTH a great deal of stress every day. She got much better, but was never "all the way back," and she still had tiny spots with no fur. I thought that was the closest she could ever get to "better." But when her vet did further research looking for a better way, he discovered and recommended the Zinpro! Our lives CHANGED for the better!!! She LOVES them, and her appetite changed to a normal dog appetite, her energy level has skyrocketed, and ALL of her fur is back around her eyes and mouth. She is a different dog! She looks better, yes... but most important is that its is very obvious that she FEELS better!!! She gets to live a more normal life now, thanx to Zinpro!!! This product is MAGIC!!!

My wife and I agree to disagree on whether this works on our husky or not.
My husky has the same skin allergy condition in the mouth/face area as many of the other huskies who's owners gave this product a review. However, I am disappointed to say that I do not believe this product has helped much or at all with her condition. It comes and goes, and usually with the season or on windy days. I know this because I start sneezing or itching more than usual on those days when her skin allergies worsen. We originally tried the Zinpro that you sprinkle on top of dog food, but I noticed my dog will choose to leave some of it at the bottom of her bowl. So we switched to the biscuits form so that I can ensure she's getting the correct dosage.Putting Zinpro to the test:For 3 months, once a day, I stuck with the Zinpro regimen on my 43lb husky from February to end-of-April. By the way, Zinpro doesn't taste like anything to me, but my dog likes it, so that's all that matters, and yes, I literally ate a Zinpro biscuit, as odd as it may seem. I switched from the Zinpro you sprinkle on top of food to the biscuits version in between those months, but I never stopped feeding Zinpro to her. After a few months, I've stopped for a month to see how her condition will deal without it. Nothing has changed before or after the Zinpro. Yes, there were moments when it seemed like her condition was getting better when she was on it, but once the weather started to get windy or when flowers started to bloom, her skin condition came right back - exactly the same as if she were not taking Zinpro at all. She'd have weeks where her skin seemed better and weeks when it seemed worse. My wife, the hopeful one, tells me there's been a difference. But me, being the one who works from home and being the one feeding her Zinpro every day, I honestly don't see the difference. The verdict:I'm willing to stick with this for a little while longer. Maybe it works on her. I sort of suspect it's the environment; could be the flowers, could be the cat fur, could be the dry air, etc. We used to say that our husky is allergic to life... So if the Zinpro works even a little bit on her, I'll continue to feed it to her.

My dogs didn't care for these

I wish my dog liked it!
These biscuits definitely helped the skin condition on my husky. Unfortunately, she's not really crazy about them. I have to put peanut butter on them to get her to eat them.

My dog loves it, more fun to feed Zinpro cookies compared to feeding a pill
Comes well packed, so not too many are crumbled. My dog loves them and can't get enough. Much more fun to feed as a treat 10 cookies instead of fighting to get a pill into me Berner. His fur looks ice and shiny, but a regular grooming is a must with or without Zinpro.

Don't bother with the pills!
Our dog hated the pills, but with a diagnosis of zinc responsive dermatitis he HAD to take 8 pills a day. We had to break the pills into fourths and put in pill pockets and he still tried to spit them out. Not so with the biscuits! He thinks they are treats!!!

My dog likes these biscuits and happily takes her two daily doses
My dog has some allergies (ear infections, frequently full anal glands, hives) and food doesn't seem to the be the cause. My vet suggested that I try Iron supplementation since a lack of iron is a frequent cause of allergies in dogs. My dog likes these biscuits and happily takes her two daily doses. She's been on them for two months and so far, her ears haven't bothered her, she hasn't had hives and she hasn't had anal gland issues (normally she has issues about once a month). Fingers crossed I've found the cure for her!!

Must be tastey
My Husky has zinc responsive - I've tried the "chew-able tablets", but he does not take those so I'm left with no alternative but to force them on him. He actually likes these! Will be addressing the issue with his Vet to ensure he is getting the same benefit from biscuits as tablets.
