I have a German Shepherd x Belgian Malinois cross, she's 40kg, so obviously pretty powerful. I've struggled with her pulling since I got her as a puppy two years ago, the problem is that she is extremely scent driven and just wants to smell everything. She can do a focused competition style heel on command perfectly fine, but casual loose lead walking and lead pressure is something that she just does not understand no matter how hard I try to teach her. When walking, she will hit the end of the lead constantly and will pull to the point of choking herself. I've tried so many different methods of teaching her loose lead walking, I've tried so many different tools (Flat collar, regular harness, slip lead, slip collar, half check collar, martingale collar, halti, headcollar) nothing has really worked. Previously, I was walking her on a figure of 8 lead (basically a slip lead but around the snout like a headcollar) as it was the only thing that could stop her pulling. But she hated it, and it would drastically limit her ability to pant. I was very hesitant to buy this harness. I've tried other front clip harnesses in the past and they were utterly ineffective, so I was skeptical but since multiple people recommended it me I decided to go for it. And I am so glad I did. As soon as I put it on her, it was like walking a different dog. No more pulling, no more choking, no more struggling to pant. My dog was walking calmly on a loose lead while still being able to sniff about and do whatever she wanted to do. I typically use a 4 foot rope style lead with this and that works perfectly, I sometimes use a 6 foot bungee lead and that also works very good but somewhat less effectively, anything longer than that doesn't really work. So don't expect this to work with a long line or flexi leash. My only regret is not buying this sooner, I've already recommended it to 3 other people and I will probably be buying another one myself as a spare. Definitely recommended for a dog that pulls.

This is well made, easy to adjust and easy to put on and take off a dog. I ordered medium for my 7kg/25lb maltipoo but it was huge, even on the shortest settings. It would be a better fit for a cocker sized dog. I’m still giving 5 stars as the product is good. I dropped the parcel at the post office to return and within an hour my refund had been processed. Outstanding service. I have ordered a small for my dog which should arrive tomorrow.

I have tried many "no pull" harnesses and this is the only one that has retarded our dogs pulling, if anything all the others we tried only made him pull harder Really hard to get the correct size, we had to try two sizes before we got the right one, luckily the company just change them We found two problems with the product, firstly with the dog trying to pull the straps loosen after about an hours walk so you find yourself having to adjust the straps o ensure he doesn't get out of the harness (hopefully as he uses it more the frequency of trying to pull will reduce and solve the problem). Secondly, due to the nature of the product putting pressure on the dogs chest if he pulls he tends to pant a lot which is a bit disturbing, hopefully once again when he gets used to knowing not o pull this will stop

This absolutely did the trick & stopped my Labrador pulling immediately. Unfortunately her trainer informed me that it was not good for her as it restricted her shoulder movements. Obviously I stopped using it & training is working.

We have a medium size dog, 14kg, and even if you tighten all the straps, the front ring always slides to the sides of her shoulders when she pulls. And she obviously keeps pulling. Besides, the buckles always slide and the harness becomes loose. We also have a greyhound and the lack of complete padding on the chest strap causes skin irritation.

I have used this harness with my golden doodle for two years. I bought it after I had surgery and was struggling with her pulling while we walked. It changed our walks instantly. The harness is faded now everything is still intact. She walks, runs and swims in the lake with it on. I just bought a second one for my four month old puppy who started pulling and it worked wonders again. Highly recommend this if your dog is pulling while you walk.

Works really well. My dog always pulls in her harness even on the front clip so I thought I would try this and she didn’t pull at all, it was incredible. She walked nicely at my side, very nice change. I tried it on my other dog who is very reactive and she didn’t mind it at all. I walked her around my yard to see how she liked it and she responded very well to the harness as well. It seems well made, it’s very easy to put on and take off and neither of my dogs minded wearing it. Would definitely recommend.
