Does this work on silk?

I used it on a Ninachika Couture Silk& Chiffon Toddler Dress that was unwearable because the kid who wore the dress got crayon on the dress. It was gorgeous dress! 100% made by and decorated by hand, unbelievable. I bought the Dress for $1.60 and the Stain Remover product worked well enough that I was able to resell it for $40. The dress brand new retails for almost $200, so It was definitely a great deal for the person who bought it and a good profit for me. I would definitely give it a try, but do a spot test first, because every type of fabric is different and if the silk is deeply colored, the stain remover might take the color off the dress. I didn't have that problem with the Couture Dress Because the silk was white, but I did have some color loss on a Lilly Pulitizer Dress with Pen stains. The Color Loss Was minor and to be honest, I used several other stain removers before trying this one, so honestly I can't 100% say this was the culprit, but I did have fading of the pink base dress color (cotton) and there was a painted floral print on the fabric that faded a bit. The stain remover treated the paint like a stain. That being said the color loss was minor and the pen stain came out completely. I bought the dress for $1.00 at a thrift store and sold it for more than $20. So it went from the potential rag bin to being perfectly wearable and saleable!

Does this work on clothes? My daughter got dry erase marker on her clothes today.

I got it because my daughter spilled nail polish on her prom dress. It didn't work on the polish and it was supposed to. I don't know if it will work on the dry erase.

How about permanent marker on polo shirt, that has been washed and dried?

It might work with a few tries. It’s worked well for me getting ink off of clothes even after washed and dried.

Is this good for dry erase boards? Looking for something to remove old marker stains.

probably. water is good for dry erase boards. im aure this is too. But its not a good product. I wouldnt waste my time.
