Sturdy. Trusting it with one of my most expensive telescopes. Latches are so nice that I have been latching them on and off for no reason other than a very satisfying feel. If you like high end mechanics this is for you!

I don't normally write lengthy reviews for items but I feel this one deserves a little more than a few stars and nothing more. The product arrived just as described with a few dings and dents so no surprise there. In my opinion they add character, now I won't feel so bad when I add my own scratches and dings. After all it is a heavy duty pelican case and it should look like it can handle what I throw at it. The foam was easy to pull and shape according to the item stored (Celestron NexStar 6SE telescope and motorized mount) which doesn't contain many straight clean lines. Now I can sleep much easier at night knowing the OTA is protected by a little more than packing foam inside a duffel bag like my last travel setup. I just can't say enough about pelican cases, I am in the military and we utilize these cases all the time. I have seen some get pretty torn up cases and the contents never have a scratch or speck of dust on them. I wouldn't recommend anything less than the best for anything you value and need portable, heavy duty protection for. The shipper deserves even more credit than I can give. I am stationed overseas in Italy and require all online purchases sent through the US postal system via APO/FPO which normally takes 2-3 weeks to arrive. I don't know how they did it, what magic they conjured up but this item was ordered on the 20th and in my posession by the 25th. I can't even get holiday cards through the mail system that quickly, so you can imagine my amazement at such a large item arriving so quickly. I will definetly do business with this company again and would recommend anyone looking for quality products that match their description and are handled by no nonsense professionals to work with them as well. Thanks again!

This Pelican case? It's not just a case — it's a fortress. I bought it to protect some high-value gear (camera equipment, tools, or insert-your-precious-cargo-here), and let me tell you: it understood the assignment. The outer shell is basically indestructible — seriously, I wouldn’t be surprised if it could survive a fall from a moving truck and a toddler with a Sharpie. The latches lock tight, the foam padding inside is customizable and snug, and the watertight seal gives me total peace of mind. Rain, dust, bumps, TSA manhandling — bring it on. What I also love? It looks official. Like “don’t mess with me or my equipment” energy. It’s rugged but not ridiculously heavy, and easy to carry even when loaded. I’ve traveled with it, stored it, tossed it in the back of the truck — no cracks, no issues, no regrets. If you're carrying anything remotely fragile, valuable, or sentimental (or all three), do not mess around. Get the Pelican. Your gear will thank you — and so will your future self when everything arrives in one piece.

The best cases, this is the third case i bought for work as an addition. These case travel around the world for events holding minimum of 27 iPads and chargers. Have never had any damage to our equipement.
