I have owned this before for about 7 years and the bread never disappoints ( I bought a new one because the old one had some scratches in it ..) I only use the 10/11 program now because you can literally have a fresh bread in 55 min! I definitely recommend this bread machine .

I bought this as a replacement to a 14 year old (and much more expensive) Kenwood bread maker that had finally given up after years of great service. The Russell Hobbs has a much smaller footprint but the container is exactly the same size and it makes loaves up to 1Kg. The largest loaf I've made is 750 g which is plenty. The controls are very easy: select the recipe and, for bread, the size and the crust colour. The bread takes a while - over 3 hours - but we've been very pleased with the result. Very tasty bread and great toasted. I've also tried the strawberry jam recipe and that was a winner. In conclusion I think this is fantastic value and makes bread just as well as far more expensive bread makers. I can't vouch for longterm reliability but so far I couldn't be happier.

I guess this is the best value for money there is, it makes perfect bread and dough, I am giving it 4 stars because the bread food recipes can be improved for local taste

Amazing bread machine. The recipes for making sandwich bread and french bread in the book are really good. For sure it is worth buying it. It does need more instructions to use it for beginners like me.

This is a fab little bread maker. It's compact and sits neatly on the worktop without taking up loads if space. I found it simple to use. Other reviews mention its noisy, yes there is some sound in the kneading stage but I would expect this given what it's doing. The noise is really just a bit of a whirring sound of the paddle turning and lasts for about 30mins. We didn't find it that intrusive to be honest. The machine can do 3 different size loaves. I have never used a bread maker before, I found this machine easy to use, I only made a 500g (the smallest size) for the first attempt but as there is only 2 of us this is a perfect size. I did the basic white loaf and followed the recipe in the booklet to the letter. I put it on the medium crust setting for first go that way we could decide it needed to go up or down one. The result was fantastic. The flat smelt of warm bread, and in 3hrs I had a loaf that came out looking like bread, smelling like bread and it tasted fantastic, it turned out looking and feeling like a shop bought fresh loaf. I haven't used the delay timer function yet but its pretty straight forward to use. I am really pleased with this machine and the result and can't wait to try the other recipes. I recommend this little machine, you won't be disappointed

I waited for 2 months for this but on first use, the rattling and crackling when mixing were really loud so I turned it off as I thought something was wrong. I double checked all the paddles etc were attached properly, restarted but it still made the same noises. On the positive side, it was a GREAT size for my kitchen and exactly right for my bread loaf size. I wish it hadn't been a faulty one because it would have been perfect.

The bread machine is my third machine.Glen lasted 8 years and Sharp just 3 years. One can make a variety of breads in this compact machine. It is an upgrade on earlier machines because of the perfect loaf.The options for bread size were not there earlier and now I can make a 300 gm mini loaf which is finished off in two days. I tried the gluten free option and the bread has turned out delicious.See picture above It is a bit noisy but takes up less space on the counter. The recipe book is not much use so I used another book on baking brilliant bread in the bread machine by Catherine Atkinson. The results are 100 percent. Thank you Amazon for bringing me this quality product at a reasonable price.
