Night Night Farm Board book – Picture Book, 7 March 2017

This book is adorable. The story is cute, illustrations are beautiful, and the book is very well made, BUT who thought having black lettering on dark colored pages for a bedtime book was a good idea!? It is extremely hard to see the words if you're in a room that's not full of light. I have an eye disease so at first I just thought it was me, but when my SO, who has perfect vision, was squinting and moving the book around to catch the light, I knew it was the poor choice in font color.

Very impressed! I was not expecting much from a five dollar book but I am very pleased. I actually didn’t know it even glowed in the dark. Illustrations are beautiful and the cut outs/flaps are neat. I bought two, one for my 18 month old and one for a baby shower.

Only the last page with the stars actually glow in the dark. Also the quality of the glowing stars are very dim. Would not buy again.

My toddler loves the animals in this book. But it’s hard to read. The words are mostly in dark fonts on dark pages. It’s supposed to be glow in the dark but it doesn’t glow at all. We still love to point to the animals in the book. But you basically have to have a lot of light to read this book and it’s a bedtime story.

This is such a cute book for my 17mo. She loves the animals and loves the peek-through pictures. I love that so many animals are feature, too. And the only part that glows in the dark are the stars on the last spread. You read the book, hold the stars up to a lamp for 30 seconds, and turn off the lights, as the back of the book says. It's such a magical way to end the day, looking at glowing stars before the little one goes to bed. Turning off the light to see the stars signals that it's bedtime.
