Like another reviewer mentioned, the cartoons are in poor taste and the content is all the stuff we've already heard about why people are attracted to other people (men go for good looks, women go for status and wealth, etc). It's overly simplistic, heteronormative, plus this book came out in 2009 and is almost 10 years old. It's already old news.

This book SHOULD BE REQUIRED READING for any and all couples looking to get married, live together and those already married as well.Been married for 21 years, mostly happy, sometimes unhappy. 12 years ago, I came across this gem of a book, and it was the only thing I had to read on an 18-hour flight... because of it, I can now say I have been extremely happily married for the past 12 years.If you are young or old, this book is a must read. For as long as you heed its advice, It will help you pick the right men or the right woman for you to be in a relationship with.I wish I could give it 10 Stars... 5 hill have to do.

This was a great read for all couples. Found it very fascinating and interesting. Excellent book to read and learn from.

This is a great book on relationships! I check it out from the library and after reading it, decided I need to purchase my own copy.It is still interesting the second time around.

Both Alan and Barbara Pease have a very informative library of work. Their books, no matter which one, are easy to read and informative. Knowledge is power. do not become a drone.

Fascinating stuff which makes perfect sense of human life too. Stop worrying about what you can’t change as it’s in built genetically and start using your new found knowledge to get exactly what you want - without the other party even realising!! Great book

A lot that you might already know or guess but great insights into the mind of the opposite sex. Excellent book. Great Value.(Some concepts may now have updated theory- Brain scans etc. and ability of brain to alter or improve).

The first book I read from this couple I really enjoyed, sadly every single book I have read since is simply the same as the first just jumbled up and a little more condecending. If you have run out of things tO say stop writing

I first bought this book when I was single and as well as giving me a lot of laughs, it also helped me be really clear on what I wanted in a partner and helped highlight about where I may have been going wrong. About a month later I met my now husband so I think that’s a pretty good indication of how good this book is!

An interesting, informative book.funny little observations and anecdotes. Mostly common sense stuff. I felt most of it related to younger generation. Not really dealing with older relationships.
