Perfect
I bought this for my boyfriend. He’s incarcerated in a federal prison. A friend of his only knew how to make teddy bears. I bought this so his friend could make other stuffed animals. He had his friend make other stuffed animals for my kids. I will update my post with a photo when they arrive. His friend was able to easily understand the pattern and he was extremely hesitant to try something new. So We’re happy with with book.

crochet book
I was not too fond of this book. The binding is very tight so the book doesn't stay open. Also, I am not quite a beginner having crocketed blankets for a long time. The instructions were hard to follow on some of the patterns. I was disappointed

Nice patterns
I have not yet made anything from the book, but the patterns look pretty. I specially like the toys. There are real beginners items, but also a few for seasoned handcrafters, who will certainly want to try their hand on some.

A good choice for a young crocheter
This book is helping a young crocheter learn more about the craft.

Not for beginners!!
I got this book because it said it was for beginners. I tried to make the Afghan and bought all the yarn for it. I could not figure out one of the stitches at all. I asked three people who are very proficient in crocheting and they cannot figure it out. Now I have all this yarn and cannot make my Afghan. Would not recommend this book to anyone.

What a book!!!
I enjoyed this book. I marked a few things I want to make. I am going to my yarn stash and find me some yarn to make a few projects. Can not wait to start.

Poor quality physical copy (B'n'W pics) with really OLD patterns. Not worth the cash.
Wow, this product was nothing like what I expected. It's a printed version of a book made for Kindle, so it's got some typos and a really weird legal intro, but that's not the big issue for me. The patterns in this book are not described well for beginners (no descriptions of how to do the stitches, no pictures of those steps) and they seem like patterns that have been around since my grandma started crocheting...I attached a pic of the toaster cover pattern, as an example. A confident beginner who already has the basic stitches down could probably make all of these projects, but I'm honestly not sure that they'd want to. I returned this, since it definitely doesn't work as a gift for a new crocheter in 2020.
