Q: Will this work on an angled ceiling?

Pitch is IMPORTANT! The piece the remote communicates with goes in the very top of the fan. If you ceiling has more than a 17 degree pitch, the fan will NOT hang straight. Too bad, it's a beautiful fan, quiet, to colors of light and it's dimmable. Perfect if they sold a SLOPE ADAPTER. Sorry to say we had to return.

Q: Has anyone solved this light issue: after turning off the light with the remote the light continues to glow if the fan is still on?

Q: Do the blades need to be installed for the fan to work?

Absolutely, the electronics requires a minimum current before it will drive the fan blades, therefore fan blades need to bee installed before it will work properly! Ibran into the same issue. Fan works perfectly now.
