Such a clever little tool. I’ve almost stopped using my foam roller because this gets into all the knots nicely. Previously used a tennis ball but it would slip away. This holds steady so no danger of a slip.

The RAD Roller is such a great product. In my opinion, it is much more effective than a conventional foam roller and does a phenomenal job at releasing tension in muscles. There is a slight learning curve, but the company offers great videos on youtube to demonstrate various techniques for utilizing the product. Overtime, I have been able to better understand the problematic areas in my body (a lot more than I expected). I used to go the chiropractor every 2 weeks to correct my posture, but now I will only be going after several months for routine adjustments as the rad roller is great at loosening my back muscles (or any muscle for that matter) to help me correct my posture. Additionally, using the RAD roller on my neck has been very relaxing and I never realized how much tension everyone holds. I would highly recommend this to everyone and not just people with pain/tension, as it results in great relief and relaxation. I would also suggest that anyone who purchases the RAD roller also purchase the RAD block. I do not have a RAD block but after using the RAD roller, I have seen the limitation of the techniques that can be done. The RAD roller is great on its own, but shoulder and upper back muscles are difficult to massage without a block.

This is an amazing product which I use all over my body. Comes with handy instructions to get the best use of the roller. Everyone who comes around my house ends up using it for niggling aches and pains. Brilliant product.

Just took delivery of my Medium density yesterday. Simple but highly effective product. Deal with chronic thoracic, lumbar and cervical pain, and this will no doubt be my favorite physical therapy tool. In the past I have used golf balls, lacrosse balls, BackMagic, inversion, TENS, stiff foam roller, a Theracane and other gadgets -- all with varying degrees of success. Blue is hard enough Was inclined towards the black one, but I'm glad I went with the blue. I'm a fairly big guy, and I like aggressive neuromuscular and pressure point massage. I was concerned the blue wouldn't be rigid enough to really penetrate and stay on a point. Read somewhere online that the slight give of the Mediums actually penetrates better. I find this to be the case. Moreover, I have to believe it's safer to use; anything more rigid might hurt or injure the vertebrae. I lift my pelvis and put all my weight on the Rad Roller no problem -- so the blue is the perfect balance. IMHO, no physical therapist or masseur is going to be able to get as deep into the muscles as the Rad Roller. If you have a hard time cracking a stiff, hunched thoracic region, this thing is for you. Something that works for me -- I find that placing the Rad Roller between my back and a doorframe, I can push with my arms to generate significant leverage -- it's a great release. Ask your PT or doc before trying this -- just sharing what works for me. Also excellent tool for posture exercises.
