My Burmese cat is on a prophylactic dose of an antiviral to help prevent infections of her cornea due to Feline Herpes. The online pharmacy from which I buy the medication sends one syringe with my monthly order. She requires 0.5 mLs, twice a day. I have a large collection of syringes that have no printing on them. Recently she got an eye infection for the first time in six years and I realized that I was down to two syringes with legible print, so I ordered these.Not only did I receive them quickly but the print on them is much more durable. I'm still using the first one that I took from the dozen I ordered and the printing is still very legible. There are caps included for the syringes which I found useful because she was quite ill this time and I needed to feed her water with a syringe and by capping it, the water stayed in the syringe.I highly recommend these syringes if you are going to be giving your cat, or any small animal, medication on a regular basis. i thought the price was high until I realized that although they come from the same company that the pharmacy uses, these seem to be of a much higher quality. Incidentally, because she is the only animal using these syringes, I just rinse them with hot water and then blow it out to make sure no blockage of the medication remains inside the syringe, since the medication is quite thick. I don't know if the print would remain if you used detergent and water to wash them.

I purchased these 1cc syringes for administering coconut oil to my cat who recently had emergency surgery for bowl obstruction due to ingested cat hair. The coconut oil helps lubricate the digestive track and prevents bowl obstruction. For any cat owner out there thinking I should just brush the cat more, I do brush him frequently. He just sheds an extraordinary amount in the spring.The Baxa syringes are sturdy and for how I am using them, will likely last for a long time. I have not had the syringes long enough to know if the measurement markings fade but this will not matter for the way I am using them. In my application, I do not need to know the exact measurement of coconut oil. I just fill the syringe 3/4 full and that serves my purpose. All that matters for me is that I am able to easily get the coconut oil into the cat and as a result, everything slides right through the cat’s digestive track.I have found that the Baxa syringes work better than other disposable syringes that I have tried. The rubber gasket at the end of the plunger does not fail after multiple applications like the ones I received from the veterinarian did. However, the plunger on the Baxa syringes is easier to push so they took some getting used to. If applied to fast, you’ll miss your mark… the first couple of applications of liquefied coconut oil ended up on my cat rather than in his mouth. But now I have it mastered and am very happy with these syringes.

I have to give my cat heart medicine everyday. The syringes that come with his medicine are horrible. I can't get the syringe to slide easily in and out. My cat is very patient, but when I put it in his mouth and the syringe would get stuck it would be frustrating for both of us. I have had the BAXA ExactaMed syringes for a week. I haven't had any problem with the syringe hanging up inside. I'm very happy and so is my cat with these syringes. Also the numbers have not come off which is a big plus. I don't scrub the outside I just rinse it because no medication gets on the outside. You get a 10 pk with caps. I don't need the caps, but for the ease of using these syringes I don't mind if i paid for the caps.

I use these syringes to give meds to my pup. The BAXA ExactaMed syringe is the best made syringe. Other after one wash, no longer slides/glides easily but BAXA continues to work very well after repeated washes. They clean well but unfortunately, just like many other syringes I’ve tried, the measured markers wash off after repeated use.
