Had an older golf cart that came with newer "hot acid" batteries. So, needed to put in a suitable battery discharge meter.Installation took about 10 minutes. And, that included time to enlarge the old dashboard hole by 1/16" along a horizontal edge. Easy.Maybe too easy. Meter seemed to work but then jumped to "low battery" flashing after being in use for 10 minutes.As a dedicated DIY'r, I spent a day-and-a-half trying to solve the problem. Then did what I should of done right off: emailed Jim at ProPower LLC.Expected it would be days before getting a response. Heard from Jim within the hour with a diagnosis of what I had done wrong. Corrected the problem and meter is now working fine.I am blown away by: a) a company that, on the instruction sheet, gives you a person's email address (and phone #) to contact if there's a problem, b) the promptness of the response, and c) the quality of the response.(And, on the chance it might help you avoid my mistake, I had failed to put a jumper between the "C" and "+" terminals on the meter.)
