Can anyone tell me what the back of the mat is made of? I'm looking to throw it over the edge of a trailer to prevent scuffs so it has to be a smooth

The back of the mat is ribbed . The whole thing is rubber.

How wide is it from door to door

No sure how long. I have a highlander Toyota and I had to cut some of it back. Hope the suv comparison helps.
