Good piece of kit
Compact and light. Fits in the gig bag. Balances the guitar (in this case a tele) very well. Great for gigs where space is at a premium. Quick to set up and strip down. Cheap as chips. It does what it says: a guitar stand.Used four nights a week for the last year.

Absolutley Perfect for Classical and Electric Guitar
Fit's both my classical and electric guitars perfectly - whilst very lightweight it's nevertheless sturdy and well balanced - the stand has two sections of the base, one that that allows an acoustic to sit perfectly and then a narrower section that allows an electric to sit perfectly - my guitars are typically standard height of around a meter - the acoustic is just under a kilo and the electric is about 4.5kilos and this stand holds both perfectly - Can't understand why some have reviewed this as a 1* or 2* as it comes Exactly as described and does Exactly what it says - i.e. holds your guitar secure and stable, folds easily, is lightweight yet sturdy and whilst firm plastic (except for the neat rubberised back-stop to stop slippage) will not scratch your guitar if you place and remove it carefully which is what most of us guitar owner do naturally anyway - it just works - all I wanted was a compact and sturdy stand for holding the guitar in the corner, and that's exactly what it does, delighted with my purchase. Will be ordering another one now so that I have one for each guitar.

Great little stand.
Light, looks good, fits a strat or acoustic, and packs up into a gig bag. Great stand.Better than the "standard" and takes up little room

THIS IS A GOOD ONE!
I have another guitar. This time, instead of going for the usual black steel framed stand which holds the guitar firmly in a neck clamp, but is rather 'industrial' in appearance, I wanted something a little more aesthetically pleasing. I was concerned that this apparently light weight plastic stand would be flimsy and not to be trusted to hold my new pride and joy, a Gibson Les Paul 50's Standard, which weighs in at over 9lbs. But it's absolutely fine - well designed and well made in quality materials. Although it is a 'low rise' floor stand with no neck support, it is firm and very stable and has a tactile rubber/silicon pad at its top, to which the back of the guitar adheres. Also, its' relatively tight footprint means it takes up less floor space than the wider splayed legs of my other tall metal stands. I've tested it's grip and found it is very difficult to knock the guitar out of the stand or tip the stand over altogether. Maybe the weight of the guitar enhances overall stability although it is advertised as being suitable for a ukulele - hardly the heaviest instrument around - so my conclusion is, a good looking safe sturdy stand of minimalist appearance, thoughtfully designed and well put together. For any future guitars I might get, I will certainly buy this stand again.

I like the design
There's a trace of clunkiness when the stand is folded shut... that the sides don't click together quite as snugly as they could, but they're not expensive stands, and for something that's built out of plastic, they're great.I use one for a violin (without the bow) and one for an acoustic guitar, and they're very stable. I like the design - they fold up small enough to fit in my leads bag. And they're light.I'd buy again.

Great Foldable Guitar Stand
Great Guitar Stand. Light in weight, but robust and holds both Acoustic or Electric Guitars firmly. Folds into reasonably small size when not in use. Was so impressed, I've ordered a second one.
