The Best Sights and easiest to use that I’ve ever tried. Very Pleased.
Learned about these sights by watching Robert Vogel’s videos on Youtube which have been informative and instrumental in learning how to shoot my glock 34 Gen 4 better. His video on Sights was fantastic and took the confusion out of what to look for in a new pair of sights. After asking my buddies who are more experienced, trying their guns, researching forums, and narrowing the choices down to the top brands mentioned in the other reviews, these made the most sense and seemed to have the best fit and finish as described. Now that they’re on my stock G34 Gen 4, I can say they’re hands down my most favorite sights I’ve ever used or seen on a Glock. So much so that I felt enthusiastically compelled to write a favorable review now that my time consuming and costly search for good Glock sights is finally over. They arrived nicely packaged w/ no parts scraping against each other in shipping. Upon further inspection they were flawlessly made with a nice finish, square and symmetrical edges, and with no excess or unnecessary machining marks or scuffs. Front sight installed easy. I really like narrowness of the sight and how the fiber optic is set so precisely close to the very top edge. I also like how on the install, with a little practice you can somewhat customize the size of how big or small the fiberoptic dot will appear when looking at the front sight. I made mine just barely big enough so it appears level with the top edge of the front sight making it much easier to line it up at point of impact on smaller targets or targets that are further down range. The rear sight was tight fitting to the point that tapping it in with a nylon punch would seem risky. I played it safe and carefully pressed mine in after cleaning and prepping the channel with a very thin coat of oil on a q-tip. The rear sight is nicely machined / finished and visually pleasing when aiming with focus on the front sight. The double set screws are a nice touch. The broad notch seems to definitely make aiming easier, quicker, and more accurate than stock, especially on follow up shots. I’m just an average shooter at best who aspires to be a better shooter in plate shoots and Idpa. For me these sights on my gun seem spot on (aiming at the center of the target) which I couldn’t be more happier for. It seems much easier to shoot it better now. I let a couple more skillful shooters at the range try it. They were dead nuts on grouping half the size of what I could do which affirms and makes me much more confident about the pistol than ever before. I was using the cheaper federal 9mm 115gr FMJ shooting from distances of 7, 10, 15 and 20 Yards. I also took shots at a bowling pin 100yrds way and was able to tag it every 2nd(sometimes), 3rd or 4th shot from a modified weaver stance. (which is an improvement for me over the other sights I’ve used on the pistol) Thank you Mr. Vogel for a no nonsense quality set of sights that perform excellent, and all the awesome knowledge you share in your videos.

Good enough for a world champion... good enough for me
I just bought my third set... these are really great sights. I have sights from Dawson, Warren Tactical, Ameriglo, Trijicon, Haley Strategic, and Ameriglo. These are all I’m buying anymore. I prefer fiber optic style sights to night sights, as I don’t shoot without a white light in darkness and I enjoy a thin front sight. The big difference between these sights and other similar ones is in the rear notch—it’s a little wider and deeper than the others I have. This lets me pick up the sight a bit quicker, and I don’t notice any loss of accuracy out to 50 yards or so. If I was a bullseye shooter or did something that required extreme precision, I might go a different direction. And I probably wouldn’t be shooting a Glock anyway. But overall I find these provide a great balance of speed and accuracy for practical shooting and duty use. A lot of people have questions about POA/POI. I’ve found that it depends a lot on ammo. I have these sights mounted on two Glock 34s and a 24. I had a set on a Glock 19 for a while, too. These sights have never shot low for me with any ammo. On the 19, impacts were pretty much exactly at the top of the front sight blade. With the longer slides, POI is, in general, 1-2” higher than the blade from 7-20 yards. Robert Vogel has said himself he’d rather miss high, as most partial targets punish low misses. And defensively, I’d rather miss in the upper thoracic region than the belly. I like the 6 o’clock hold and really enjoyed these sights from day one. But if you’re coming from, say, a Sig platform where you’re used to covering up the target with your sights, there may be an adjustment period with these. I’d highly recommend a pair... I’d also suggest, if you’re not used to fiber optic sights, that you purchase a pack of 1.0mm fiber optic rods in assorted colors to see what you like best. These sights come with a red rod, which I always thought was my favorite. But after some experimentation, I actually found I was a little quicker with green and also picked it up a little better in a low light environment. Everyone’s eyes are different. Pick these sights up and play around. You won’t be sorry.

FANTASTIC sights
I have shot a lot of different handguns with a wide array of sights, and I think these are absolutely the best I've ever used. I recently took a "World Class Pistol Skills" course sponsored by Mr. Vogel, and I was fortunate to receive his thinking behind his sight design, and it makes sense- the wider-than-normal notch provides faster acquisition of targets, more situational awareness (very helpful for moving targets), and they are actually more precise in my opinion because you can see daylight around the front sight post. The dot is also as high as possible on the front sight post- many people have the habit of placing the front sight dot itself on the target, opposed to the edge of the front sight blade, so this helps alleviate that issue. My assumption is that the people complaining about these sights impacting high are not getting a proper sight picture, and are elevating the dot to cover the intended target.

slight learning curve but worth it......
Great sight for fast and accurate shooting. I have these on my G17 Gen5 and my G19C Gen4. As the description stated, the front sight is .220 high compared to its competitors at .215. Vogel explains that shooters use the red fiber optic dot to align with the rear sight rather than the traditional top of the front sight when shooting fast. At first this was an issue for me because I have always used the traditional method of getting a proper sight picture. Using these sights and a traditional sight picture/alignment, I was hitting just low when given an unlimited amount of time to make an accurate shot. Once I started to do more competition style shooting (plate racks, Texas Star, Poppers, etc.), I then began to understand and buy into the purpose for the .220 height. If you're looking for a solid sight that will get you on target fast and accurately so long you do your part that is, you can't go wrong with these sights.

This sight set shoots high on my Glock 34.
Quality sights. However my Glock 34 gen 3 shoots about 2 inches high at 20 yards with the included front sight. I will probably be ordering a slightly taller Dawson sight to get my point of impact down a little.

Good value, but not quite perfect.
Let me start by saying I think these are a good design and a good value. But I do have a couple of important complaints. One: the front sight is slightly "twisted" - meaning it does not lay perfectly parallel to the slide/barrel, even though it is snugly and perfectly fit where it inserts into the slide. It's just enough to notice and to irritate. Not really enough to change "practical" point of impact, because the rear sight has such a large gap for "air" around the front that centering left/right, especially when moving fast means it's never really centered anyway. Two: elevation is not great - on my Glock 35 (Gen3) these print VERY reliably 1" high at 15 yards. To address this, I've ordered a slightly taller front sight from elsewhere. Luckily the front sight is very, very easy to change out. Most other mfg'ers recommend taller front sights for the long-slide Glocks, after all. Finally: most other similar sights come with both red and green optic filaments. This one is only red. The cost of 2" of filament must be 5 cents. Why not include the option? I'm switching to green with the extra filament that will come with my taller front, and installing this Vogel front on a Glock 19 where I hope it will work better for elevation. Finally, and this is ENTIRELY a matter of personal preference: I wish the rear sight were not serrated, but completely plain. All that said, holy moly is Vogel a great shooter! UPDATE: After reading the response/comment on this review (I'm guessing posted by "The Man Bob Vogel Himself" !?) I tried the tip of rotating the front sight with a plier. I used a crescent wrench which gave me a nice flat surface, with a paper shop towel as padding. And... it worked beautifully. So I have to give another star, both for the responsive customer service and for the fact that... well, the front sight is NOT twisted as I mistakenly thought - but merely rotated a tiny bit in the slot machined into the slide.

Amazing sights!
Great sights, I shoot IDPA, USPSA, GSSF, Steel Plates & 3-Gun, I use my G3 G34 for all those sports with a Dawson front and Heinei rear and had good success, so on my G4 G34 I decided to try something different and went with Vogel set, I absolutely love it. For GSSF you have to shoot up to 25 yards, and for Steel you shoot up to 35 yards, the sights are dead on, I am not sure what people are doing when they state that the sights at 20+ yards are off, but I am pretty sure that it is not the sights that are at fault. As noted by some other people, you might want to invest on a sight pusher or get a gunsmith to put in the rear sights, I have one, and it was a tight fit (probably should have filed off a bit of material), and you will have to insert the fiber tube into the front sight and melt both ends (real easy process, YouTube can help), but they are worth every penny. As a last note, if you have an MOS model, you will not be able to remove the plate once the sights are in (unless you can slide it off sideways, I have not really tried removing the plate at all), the rear sight protrudes over the plate so you can't pull it out. Good luck!

So all and all I absolutly love these sites
Warning: You will most likely have to file down these sights to get them to fit properly. With that being said, it is absolutely 100% worth it! I just received these sights in the mail today. I set them on my gen 4 glock 17 and headed straight to my local indoor range. I have never been this accurate with my glock before, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face if I tried as I blazed threw 250 rounds of 9mm blazer brass. I went threw a set of ameriglo IDOT sights and then the CAP sites before these. Both very decent especially for close range self defence, but for distance and accuracy these Vogel Dynamics blow them both out if the water. A bit of a sharp edge on them but not that big of an issue. The red fiber optic is visible in all lighting and pops in front of the serrated solid black rear sight putting my worries of how much light I would need to rest. I have not had it in very bright or glairy light yet but the serations on the front and rear of the sights seem to work as described as far as indoor light could show. So all and all I absolutly love these sites. Two thumbs up 👍👍
