this does exactly what I expect and all 12v and 9v power supply's that have a price tag between $5 and $10 are in "normal price range" never pay more and always look for "further discounts and coupons" at the end of the day a power pack is inexpensive metal and a chunk of plastic that you can NEVER break open so when it dies it is in the bin ( or trash as the USA people say ). several months in, this one is working fine.

I got this power adapter to replace the one that came with my Casio CTK-800 keyboard and that had gone MIA in a move. I didn't want to pay 20-30 dollars for an AC adapter and for ten bucks this one works. The cable is long enough to reach an outlet as I keep the keyboard on a stand. A red LED indicator light on the adapter illuminates when it is plugged in. What else can I say,but the plug fits the keyboard, it powers the thing and it works.

I bought a casio keyboard without a cord, bought this! Works perfectly and lights up a nice blue to show its got power.

Works as designed. The blue LED is insanely bright. It illuminates the room at night. It’s completely unnecessary as detracts from the product.Update: changing to one star after it fell apart. I find that terrifying. I’ve never had a plug fall apart! Stay away!

My daughter used to play little songs on the Casio keyboard all the time. Then I noticed she hadn't been playing in a while. I asked her why she hasn't been playing lately and she said the keyboard doesn't work. so I plugged it in and started tinkering with it. I discovered the power cord had some black electrical tape on it and was very wobbly. I said on no, it's really busted. Then I thought, maybe I can find one on ebay or amazon. I searched Amazon using the Casio model number and to my great surprise I found several power cords at a very cheap price. I found a couple that were eligible for amazon prime and within a few days , my daughter was back on the keyboard playing her favorite songs.
