Rothco Acrylic Commando Sweater GI Style Military Sweater

I'm a size L, so ordered a XXL at 5'9 180Ibs and it was a good fit. As others have said it fits tight in the torso and is very comfortable IMO. Seems like it's pretty good quality. So far no issues.

I received this sweater today and it's exactly what I wanted. Other reviewers have noted that Rothco run a bit small and they were correct. I normally fit a XXL but I bought XXXL for this sweater and it's a perfect fit on me. It is a sharp looking military style sweater. It is tight fitting, but it keeps its shape and is warm and seems to be well made. It's definitely made for colder weather, but a T-shirt underneath should be OK for cooler days. It depends on your preference and what type of sweater suits your figure best. If you want a tight fitting military style sweaters then by all means buy this from Rothco but do order a size up. If you prefer a looser fit then try Goodthreads Men's Soft Cotton Military Jumpers on Amazon UK. The are cheaper but they are also made a big (too big) and are a much looser fit. I prefer Rothco and I will definitely buy this product again.

100% agree with the consensus that you should buy ONE SIZE LARGER... at least. I'm a Medium with most brands, but I trusted all the reviews that suggested buying a size up and I am very glad I did. Even with a size up, it is still quite form-fitting. The neck hole will probably be tighter than expected. It is extremely warm! It may seem like the body is extraordinarily long, but once worn, it will 'bunch up' and actually conform to the length of the torso. It is a nice style. I have slightly longer arms, but the arm length is perfect for me. The arm patches seem to be misplaced; with arms bent and leaning on a table or chair arm, the patches will be missed and instead rest directly against the fabric. Maybe that is not their purpose (they elbows and shoulder patches look very nice) but I wish the elbows were better placed. It survived one wash so far (instructions on the label) but I do fear that it will unravel over time, especially on one of the sleeves. There is already a bit of string showing and I am sure with continual use it will unravel and furl more. For the price, an excellent buy.

Several reviews have already pointed out these run a bit small. They do, but I think it's intentional (the tight/slim fit look) and I've gotten used to it after a week or so of pretty heavy wear. It's also a bit long in the torso, but at my height (just under 6' with a medium) that just insures it won't ride up over my belt and let extra draft in. It's also surprisingly warm. It was replacing an old wool sweater and the acrylic does WAY better. I can't say how well the elbow and shoulder patches prevent wear because I haven't had it long but they don't seem flimsy and are sewn well. Also, product descriptions never include the washing/care instructions but I hate having special needs clothes so it's nice to know. Here you go: machine wash warm, tumble dry low, remove from dryer immediately. Easy as a pair of sweats.

I purchased the sweater because I wanted to have as close a copy of the commando sweater as seen in No Time To Die, but I didn't want to pay $400.00 for the true N.Peal version. Not happening. Let me start off by saying I have purchased many Rothco apparel products in the past, and I think they are great - they are comfortable and durable. The T Shirts and Military Fleece I have all purchase in the past all ran a little big on me and I am a size XL and they are all comfortable as anything. I was really surprised when I got the sweater (a size XL) at how tight the fit is. I admittedly don't know if commando sweaters are supposed to fit that way, but there is no looseness at all. This sweater does in fact hug exceptionally close to the body. Previous reviews have stated this - they are all accurate. All in all I like the sweater, it does fit in terms of lenght- the look and material are good quality, but I don't see myself wearing it too often as A. Tight clothing is not comfortable to me, and B. I look terrible in in it - keeping it real. Also I would wear an under shirt or henley underneath it or you will feel the itch. If you do that, the material itself is good. It's a pretty close match to the one worn by Daniel Craig in No Time To Die, but it is not exact - again $40.00 versus $400.00 so you get the idea. I am going to keep the sweater until I can find one that is more comfortable. Will also try and stretch it out a bit and just wear it around the house. Bottom line - I recommend the product, and I recommend the brand, but know up front , the sweater is going to be a tight fit and you should have the proper build to wear it, unlike me. The workmanship is excellent. However, no creature on the planet would fit into the weird shape. It appears that the pattern was an XL and to make this a 3XL, the sleeves and body were lengthened ridiculously and no size consideration was given to the torso. If I had a girlfriend with five foot long arms, she could wear it as a dress or if I had a giraffe buddy, he might fit into it.

Three stars for warmth because acrylic isn't as warm as wool. This sweater looks sharp as hell. The only problem is you need the body to match. When I bought it I wasn't in bad shape. Since then I've gotten a little belly fat. Because of the lines in the sweater it will accentuate that to a degree. If you have a flat stomach you will look like you just walked out of officer training school. It's a tight fit, keep that in mind. You need to wear a light shirt underneath, like a dress shirt. If you are in between sizes, get the larger size, that's what I would recommend. I'm small, I got a small and it's very tight but wearable. I could also get a medium and it would fit looser and the sleeves would be longer. I'd have to roll them up a bit. But I could wear it.

It was a gift for my grandson. It was a good fit with room to grow. He,s just 15 years of age.it is a well made product and the price was right.

I was worried about being too small but the XL was fine. The torso is tight but is designed that way. It is meant to be a hugging fit. Quality is very good. Order a bigger size to be sure. Recommended.

A little snug around the waste but still great to own!

アクリルなので首元がチクチクしない。SCHOTTのシングルライダースの下に来ても、N-3Bの下に来ても、B-3の下に着てもぴったり。袖は折り返して使用します。耐久性は大体3から4年くらい。壊れたら、また買います。
