So, as others have noted here, the fabric is heavier and a tad stiff, and although heavier, it's not bulky at all.. a big plus; the sizing is spot-on perfect! If you are normally a medium, order a medium etc. I found it very, very comfortable to wear and as others have stated, it works better as a light jacket than it does a shirt. The sleeves (for my personal preference) were a bit short, but I'm tall and lanky so to be fair, often times my sleeves aren't quite at my wrist. I'd love roomier pockets as I'll be using mine more as a smock to wear over a t-shirt in the art studio, and pockets for the work I'm doing are a huge "must have", but, for a casual top, it's stylish and totally fabulous. The color I ordered I love; it's not heavily apparent .. sort of a faded version and more of a very dark, muddy teal instead of a true Navy blue, which I also loved. I'm quite happy overall.

Caveat: I haven't washed it yet, but if I follow the instructions, it should be fine.I ordered this in the color Coffee and it's a beautiful, rich brown. The fabric has a lovely hand and was a heavier weight than I expected, which is great because I live where it gets really cold in the winter. Since it's linen, I expect some wrinkling and that doesn't bother me. The seams are stitched and surged (finished), and the hem is enclosed. So...at least for now, better fabric, fit, and construction than I expected and that makes me happy!

The stitching and buttons are quality, well done. As others have said the fabric is thick, and a little rough, so this probably isn't summer weight for most of us. Also the flare shape isn't as pronounced as I was hoping, it basically just looks like a button down shirt. I do love the pocket shape and placement, as well as the seam across the bust that should give it the flare silhouette.It is a little snugger than I wanted, especially in the upper arms, but fits well proportionally. I wish it came in plus sizes beyond XXL, because I would order another in a different color if it did. I am 5'4", 230#. I am rather flat chested so if you're larger busted it may be snug, it doesn't have darts. For me that is perfect. It did not shrink (machine wash cold, hang to dry) and air dried quickly so perfect for my travel wardrobe

Size fits as expected. I ordered navy and got a charcoal gray-green. The seller appears to offer this color as green. It has pockets, but they are a different from the picture. Good quality fabric, heavier and stiffer than expected, so not for summer wear. Two very different sets of washing instructions were given. I followed the instructions on the sewn-in tag and got good results. Cold water wash, delicate cycle, hang to dry. Good value for the money, awful color, not worth the hassle of returning.

My wife is very pleased with the look, feel, color and fit. The material weight makes it perfect for fall and sring wear !

I had one of these in Blue and liked it so much I bought this one in pinkish red. This item can be worn as an overshirt or a jacket. I took it to Europe with me in late spring, and it worked perfectly. The fabric is a kind of coarse cotton. It says linen/cotton but I am not sure about that. It is a breathable, natural fabric (did the match test) and it gets softer the more you wash and wear it. I am 5'3" but I have wide shoulders and a broad back, so I generally prefer to wear less structured tops in larger sizes. This plus sized top fit me as I needed it to - lots of room in the shoulders and plenty of room for layering. The collar was comically wide in this size, but it didn't really notice, since I rarely had it done all the way up, and when I did I concealed it with a scarf. For the price you can't beat this versatile, comfortable and well made piece.

That it does not watch well. The "new" shirt was super cute. But once washed in cold water and lined dried the colorfaded...and I really liked the original color.

Big and long, boxy like a jacket and heavier like a jacket. Will work fine for garden jacket with pockets like I wanted but for most this linen is not shirt weight more like a jacket.Very boxy shape.
