Just what they said it would be. I own and use a lot of these and similar ones, equipping larger groups on wilderness trips. One weakness of all of them (this one included) is that they are really made only for smaller ("large") eggs. If you go up to larger sizes (like extra large and jumbo) and put these in a pack where they get squeezed a little you'll get some breakage. I wish someone made one that works for larger eggs. One thing nice about this particular design is that they are transparent so you can more easily see how many are in there, what's happening in there and that the case is clean.

Space saver in a tiny camper fridge
I purchased 2 of these for our camper. I've only had one opportunity to use them, but I love them. They lock together securely to keep them from coming open and I feel like there is less chance of the eggs breaking when we are towing our camper. They can also stand up or lay down, making packing the refrigerator for a weeklong camping trip easier.

Better than Nothing
These do keep eggs relatively safe, although I've had eggs crack in them. It is not water tight. The snaps that hold the two parts together are weak... doesn't take much for it to pop open. Nevertheless, it is superior to to just putting a dozen eggs in it;s original box into a cooler.

Holds large eggs & can sit sideways.
My wife likes this for storing eggs in the fridge. We don't worry as much about our daughter setting things on top of the eggs now and smashing them. I think this would be a good container to take hard boiled eggs to work in. I like to eat eggs as an afternoon snack and this box would take up less room in the office fridge.

The plastic is thicker and sturdier than I expected, but the clasp on mine doesn't really work. I just got it to hold extra eggs from my Costco trips, though, so it does the job. :)

Great camping egg carton!
This is a great little carton - does exactly what I need for storing eggs in the camper fridge. I like the color and love that I can put it in the dishwasher.

holds big eggs
This works out pretty well, but occasionally my muscovy ducks lay an egg that's a little too big to fit.

Sturdy egg crate.
Perfect for packing eggs. Holds large eggs (and will probably hold extra large eggs) no problem.
