Morton Salt Kosher Salt, 3 lb, 2 pk

The boxes were a little roughed up. It looks like whoever packaged them squeezed them pretty hard to put them into the shipping box.Other than that, I like it. I normally use regular Mortons table salt with iodine because iodine is important in the diet and unless you eat plenty of seafood you probably aren't getting enough iodine in your diet. However, most of the new recipes I am using call for kosher salt or the like so I thought I'd give it a try. This added great flavor! I was pleasantly surprised.I will still use iodized salt for many things but will use this for meats and veggies.I'm sure I could have gotten this much cheaper in the grocery store but since I don't get out to the store very often I chose to buy from Amazon. Guess you pay for the convenience.

I have to go with the majority here, the boxes were in rough shape busted up salt everywhere. But on the other side, great value 2 boxes great quality I am a kosher salt freak I have purchased product multiple times, although they never have arrived in such a damaged state and will order again im sure. Note to company pack the product better and you'll have more satisfied customers.

Sometimes you need to buy an insane amount of kosher salt for a project. This was one of those times. Amazon came in clutch. We used the kosher salt to mummify chickens in class and it was a hit!

I am a Morton kosher salt chef, can't stand diamond crystal kosher with those weird hollow crystals.Just remember in larger recipes to measure by weight not volume due to the differences in kosher salt brands.

So....I kept trying to figure out why I couldn't find Kosher salt in the grocery...seems that there is a shortage in the US from Canada. This price was ok - obviously a bit high - but, supply and demand. Sigh.

There isn’t anything I dislike about this product. I keep it in a pinch bowl on my stove top so I can season the food as I cook, and, of course, I use it for wet or dry brining.

Great tasting salt.Huge quantity, will last a whileOnly two negatives....1. Would have been cheaper if I had bought this at a grocery store. You pay for convenience2. Salt leaks out from bottom of box. Seal could be better. I put the box in a zip lock bag. I dont want to waste or have to clean up a mess.
