Must-Read for all who are governed or governing
A critique of Princes? A warning to the ruled? An instruction manual for rulers? This is a fantastic work. It objectively accounts the ways of powerful and effective governing forces, and the reader may decide why Machiavelli is telling him or her this. I highly reccomend pairing this reading with Baron de Montesquieu's "The Spirit of the Laws."

Definitely worth it good book

Thin and flimsy
I bought this version as it was one of the cheaper, yet nicer looking editions that I’ve seen. However I was a bit disappointed when it arrived and the book looks more like a thin manual than a book 😂 but as the saying goes “don’t judge a book by its cover” this is my first time reading “the prince” and so I suppose the size and quality of the book does not matter as much as what is contained within it.
