Good book for beginners to have a basic idea about the field
This book for beginners. It covers the basic information about the tools. It doesn’t cover the procedures in cath lab, IR, and etc…

Highly useful reference for clinicians
This book is a very useful introduction to catheter- and wire-based procedures for budding clinicians, residents and peri-procedure staff. It is easy to read, clear and concise, and portable enough to carry around as a reference. It fills a critical gap in medical literature and I highly recommend it.

Excellent Introduction to Percutaneous Procedures
Thorough and easy to follow, this book is an invaluable resource to anyone just beginning in the world of endovascular procedures. It provides explanations and diagrams on procedural basics spanning from the set up of the room, prepping of devices, proper communication, and vessel closure once the procedure is finished. This is an excellent guide for anyone - medical students, residents, scrub techs, etc - to have in their back pocket.

Excellent introductory text
Very useful reference for staff to become familiar with the principles of wire and catheter use in the OR, cath lab or IR suite. This short but comprehensive text provides a baseline understanding of the environment and vocabulary that team members can use to build upon as they become more knowledgeable about these procedure rooms.

Perfect for new staff
I'm a vascular surgeon. I bought this book because I was spending a ton of time teaching staff the basics of endovascular procedures. Without any fundamental knowledge, it was impossible for personnel to anticipate the steps of the procedure. I wanted a written resource to provide a foundation of knowledge. I bought a copy of this book and thought it was clear and concise while touching on all the fundamental details. I gave it to a new tech who had no endovascular experience and had struggled enormously in her first endovascular procedure. Since reading just a few chapters, her learning curve has accelerated tremendously. Now my more experienced staff have asked me for copies as well so I'm ordering more. I'm very happy with the effect the book has had and would highly recommend it as a resource for anyone who is learning or teaching wire and catheter-based procedures.
