Frank Herbert's Dune Saga 3-Book Boxed Set: Dune, Dune Messiah, and Children of Dune

I read the first 50pages, seems nice 😁

I have not read it yet but I needed this book for a long time and now I finally laid my hands on this beauty. Not only it was delivered with proper packaging and care, the deal was outstanding 👏. Pages are pure white but a lil thin which is not at all a big issue for me. Getting the hardcover version of it at such a remarkable price, I'm totally STUNNED 🤯. 100% Recommend, bought from The Bargain Books.

This is a review purely for quality of the book and not about the content of Dune. The book quality overall is 4 out of 5. In the first picture you can see the text printed on back side of page is visible. In the second picture you can see the hologram is tampered (I have covered the book with plastic that’s why the picture of hologram looks dull, without cover it’s not like that). Still a good purchase in my opinion.

Amazing book! The cover is nice and pages are pretty cool. I'll start reading soon. I loved the way they adjusted three massive books in a 900 paged collection. This was done by decreasing the text size, and using bigger pages. Thus the first book, which is 800 pages long, was adjusted in 400. This is an amazing feature, although it'll take the same time to read. But please, if you wear glasses to read, then don't buy the whole trilogy as the text is small. The book is not that thick, and you can easily open it. I think it is amazing, and quality is pretty cool. Only one complain, there are a few flaws in the cover. But they are small, so not noticeable. But still quite annoying. But the book is great

THOUGH THE BOOK IS GOOD, WITH ALL THE THREE PARTS. BUT ITS IS MY PERSONAL VIEW THAT BOOKS SHOULD BE IN SEPRATE INDIVIDUAL VOLUME. IT MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO READ THE BOOK WHEN ITS HEAVY AND BIG. BUT STILL GIVING IT 5 STARS.

Book condition: Package and the overall book quality was good. Page quality could've been better (not bad) but at this price and consider that this is a triology, it is understandable. As far as the book is concerned, it is one of a kind. Dune has a compelling character, plot. It is a story of a young boy - Paul and his journey in a 'spice' rich planet called Arrakis - Dune. The author has build the dune universe in such a way that and as I read, I could see the planet through the pages, the journey of each characters. A must have for any sci-fi/fantasy book readers. About to start Dune Messiah.

Value for money. pages are good enough. Crisp-clear print. Print for a few pages in the beginning was a bit skewed, but not a problem for me. Also the hardcover illustration with golden embossing looks cool. Finally binding can be worked upon.

The book is sturdy. But the paper quality is very thin and the letters on the other side bleed through a bit. Line spacing is also lower than expected. Did not expect such a thick volume - this causes inconvenience as I need to refer to the glossary at the end of the novel. But the price point is great for 3 volumes in a single book.

You've seen the movie now. Read the books. Bought this as a gift. Very happy with the quality being a box set. It looks good and makes an excellent gift. The story itself is amazing. I have not read it myself for a couple of decades but I can highly recommend. It is well written captivating story.

For a series like this I wanted a durable and well made hardcover edition. Purchased 'new' via Amazon, the condition seen in the photos is exactly as it arrived, as yet unread, it has only been waiting on the bookshelf! The binding glue appears to have been insufficient or missing, the spine puckered along the left edge as a result. I've only noticed it today now that books 4-6 are arriving soon.

Everything fine. Well worth reading.

Great novel. Some long repetitive chapters. But good.
