Awesome BBQ
I bought this to replace the one that came with my AFrame Flagstaff Camper. It arrived just before COVID hit so it sat for over a year before I actually used it and I was nervous about that since I didn't test and possibly return if it didn't work. I was very pleasantly surprised at how much easier it is to light up (the old one you had to get down on your knees unless you're either young and flexible or a contortionist and shove a lighter up from the bottom.) This one has a push button that works every time on the first click. Very happy with the purchase and highly recommend!

IT WORKS
i USE THIS WITH MY CAMPER. iT IS BOLTED ON THE REAR BUMPER AND SWINGS OUT TO COOK ON.DOES A VERY GOOD JOB. THIS REPLACED ONE I HAD FROM 2 YEARS AGO SAME MODEL. THIS ONE I COVERD THE BURNER PLATE WITH ALUMINUM FOIL. DID NOT DO THAT ON THE OLD ONE AND IT ROTTED OUT

Works Perfectly with my Onboard Propane Tank
The handles were in an awkward place and hard to attach. I did not see a drip pan for the grease and ease of cleaning. I will place foil on the bottom of the BBQ to catch the grease the next time I use it.It was super easy to attach to my camper. You need to order the correct length of the hose separately. It does not come with the BBQ

Decent Little Grill, Much improved!
Having been in the RV business for nearly 30 years, this grill has been nearly the standard in most travel trailers for as long as I can remember. It's always been a no frills cooking device from a fairly large grill surface that plugs directly into your RVs propane quick connect port or can be used with a portable tank. This newer model appears to be basically the same but with a new chromr "Flame King" badge on the front which is a nice touch. Makes it look less like the old generic black freebie RV grill. The second upgrade is the now included piezo lighter located next to the temp knob. Models in the past required lighting with a lighter. Very happy with the new look and features, will be giving a warm-up test tomorrow and will report back with the results.Update: So one drawback I encountered. During a trip last week, I noticed that the piezo wire runs under a fairly sharp piece of metal shielding so when you set the grill into your storage compartment, the piezo wire is pinched by this metal shielding. I already have a cut in the wire. Going to have to reroute or protect it somehow because it will shear through if not corrected. I might drill a hole through the shielding and rout the wire through it so it's protected a bit. I'll keep you posted. Design flaw!

This is a nice grill and reasonably priced
This is a nice grill and reasonably priced. The materials appear more durable that some and therefore it is slightly heavier. It could however have a different control valve that would give better control of the flame intensity. The upper grill grate (bun warmer) could be made removable to give better access to the back of the main grate, but if only cooking for a couple people this is not a big deal. The info provided leads you to believe there is provided, a bracket to hang the BBQ on the side of a Motorhome or Trailer. It doesn't explain that this bracket is the one the BBQ hangs on and not what is fastened to the Motorhome or Trailer to hang that bracket on. They tell you to hang this bracket on the inset molding on the side of your RV. This would be fine if all RV's had this molding installed at the same height. As in my case I have two RV Trailers and one has no molding at all and the other is 37" off the ground which would put the grill grate surface about 30" off the ground. This would be fine if you are on your knees or sit in a lawn chair while grilling your food. It would be very easy to provide a piece of molding about 24" long to mount to the side of the RV. Also if you could use the molding on your RV you would have to remove the rubber or vinyl screw cover molding insert in order to hang the BBQ bracket on the molding. This would be unsightly. I also feel it would be better if the price was increased to include everything needed to mount and use this BBQ.And we are told that this BBQ can "only" be used when connected to the onboard RV propane system. This is misleading because if you purchase a BBQ regulator, a female quick connect and an adapter fitting this can be used with any portable propane tank. This is a much easier setup if you plan on using it on a table top away from your RV. This also could be solved by installing a gas regulator on the BBQ.

Great grill
The grill works great and is an easy connect to our travel trailer. The only issue we had was with the bag it goes in. One of the handles broke on the first use. The bag is still usable.

"if the meat your cooking exceeds the cost of the BBQ your cooking on you may wanna upgrade"
although this is the second bbq i purchased from this company its important to point out there is no customer service. knowing that each application will be different (plumbing) by the time you figure out what will be the best set up for your rig your into it for more money then its worth. As far as performance as a BBQ the first one i purchased worked fine (hooked it directly to propane tank). For all the Na Sayers as to the performance i would use the rule "if the meat your cooking exceeds the cost of the BBQ your cooking on you may wanna upgrade" lol...as far as a quick hot dog its fine
