Great product and a greater seller!
I received messaging this morning saying this was delivered. I was confused because no doorbell rang and no delivery person came to the front porch. I messaged the seller, then saw it was delivered by FedEx. Past experiences with them told me to check around the back of the house. BINGO! There was my delivery. SUPER FAST shipping on a product that will last a long time. ICECO makes awesome reefer/freezer units and I bought 2 of my own this time so I could stop borrowing from my friends. I will update later after my first outing if things are different than expected. I would recommend this product and I would buy from this seller again! ***UPDATE*** This unit performed well. It kept everything cold. A word of warning though, veggies should not be allowed to touch the white chilling area, they will freeze. Performed well using the AC adapter as well as the cigarette lighter cord in the vehicle. I would recommend this to people looking for a reliable car, truck, or van/RV cooler/freezer.

Well built and designed, a solid fridge freezer with excellent components
I needed a freezer, not a refrigerator to transport frozen foods 200 miles and this Iceco 42 is widely reviewed as the "best" portable freezer.I researched portable "coolers" and found this Iceco to be built with excellent "pump" and components with user reviews reporting quality and durability. If you have the budget, buy an ARB, otherwise, this Iceco 42 is comparable if not equal, capable of freezing temperatures, runs quietly and is insulated to hold cold with the power off for long hours in a vehicle. It's about as large as one person can move when full of food.My first "test" was to put water in an ice cube tray and freeze it to ice, unplug the Iceco and leave it for two days and still have ice cubes in mild to warm fall/autumn weather. I don't think I can expect more. It's a great luxury to be able to have "keep frozen" foods and every day refrigerator foods chilly without dealing with a cooler full of water and melting ice and plastic bags.

Rugged Portable Fridge
I bought this fridge for camping after exploring a number of options for mid-size refrigerators powered by 12 VDC from a car. I used it occasionally for temporary cooling while cleaning our home refrigerator and freezer, when driving somewhere, and for cooling beverages outside. I never did use it for camping, mostly because I did not buy a battery pack to power it when the car was not running (this fridge does not have its own battery). This unit seemed to work well to maintain normal refrigerator temperature of about 38°F. It operates quietly and adjusting the temperature setting is easy. It can run directly from a 12V accessory plug in the car or on 110 VAC when used with the included adapter. The case is very durable (similar construction as a Yeti type cooler) and could reasonably function as a cooler (without the refrigeration system running) when ice is used. It is fairly heavy for a cooler due to the refrigeration components, and the refrigeration system takes up about 1/3 of the interior capacity. Now three years later and well out of warrantee, the unit failed to run and the display lit briefly and then went dark. I checked the power supply and cords but they were fine. I attempted to reset the unit several times without success and since there was no display at all I could not check for any fault codes. So Icalled customer service and was able talk with a real person who assigned me a ticket number. As requested, I emailed them a copy of my Amazon receipt (thank you Amazon for keeping my previous orders on file!) and then some photos and a video of the unit. Even though my fridge is no longer under warrantee, they offered to send me a replacement controller to fix the problem. So far, I am impressed by their customer service! Hopefully the new controller will fix the problem and I will once again have a good portable refrigerator.

Good refrigerator, great customer service
I bought the JP42 in July, 2021 because that’s all I could get. I like the secop/ danfoss compressor. At least it’s a name brand. I primarily had this plugged into 110v shore power and I would have it about 4 degrees above where I wanted it. Otherwise, it would get too cold. However, once it was on 12v DC it was sluggish and temp would rise (fix follows). Now, 5 months later, I had it in my rv and tested it alongside a 12v rv fridge. The fridge (freezer part) would freeze bottles of water. Not the iceco. So I called customer service. And this is why I love iceco.I called on a Saturday and then realized they weren’t open. So I hung up and didn’t leave a message. On Monday, iceco called me. I didn’t pick up because I thought it was an 800 scam call, so they texted me and wanted to know if I needed their help. A real live person did this on their own. Nobody does that anymore. The fix was easy. And it’s because I didn’t understand the instruction book. There is a battery protection so it won’t drain your battery when you go to start your car. I had it on the highest setting and iceco helped me put it on a lower setting. It was reading that it was taking too much from the battery at once and it will make it run slower. Probably not the right terms, but you get the picture. This was only a few hours ago and it’s already down to 10 deg (f). Great support. The only thing I don’t like is the white color. It gets filthy. I haven’t found the right cleaner and I don’t want to use anything too caustic.

Works great, energy efficient & built like a tank!
This is my only refrigerator. I live aboard a 27' sailboat and a VW Westfalia camper van, and move this cooler between the two depending on where my adventures take me. The Iceco 42 is very quiet, cools/freezes quickly, and is very well insulated. It also uses very little power. I can freeze 2" of water in the bottom, unplug it, and it stays cool for days. Alternatively, a single 100 watt solar panel is enough to keep my house batteries topped up while running this little guy 24/7 on "eco" mode, even in the rainy PNW. Solid construction, still works and looks good after 6 months of heavy use.
