Magnificent masterpiece!
So I just bought this pencil along with the 0.5 mm. I'm not 100% sure why but I'm gravitating towards the .3 mm lately. So before I use the graph gear 1000 drafting mechanical pencil with the retractable nib. This was my go-to as far as everyday drawing. To me I liked the weight but until I got this mechanical pencil I realized that the graph gear 1000 is not balanced. This pencil is incredible. It's absolutely perfect for drawing, it is so well constructed with top grade materials. It has the perfect weight, balance. And even though I say balance, it's has a little more weight towards the business end of it but still feels well balanced in the hand. I've always loved Staedtler shading pencils. I've had them, their racers, their pencil sharpeners. They just put out a phenomenal product and this mechanical pencil follows suit. I'm including picture of my drawing because right after I got this mechanical pencil I started working on this picture from beginning to where it's at right now. I used this pencil along with "H" lead hardness. I love the way this is turning out so far. I've always used 0.5 mm pencils and the past and I may just store them away because I finally got a fantastic 0.3 mm pencil that I know is going to be my number one pencil. I can't say enough good things about this. With the price that it cost me, it's right in the middle of the road between one of the best drafting pencils out there and above the graph gear price. I truly think though that this pencil is worth every penny and they could possibly sell it for more because it's that great of a product.

Precision, Reliability, and Comfort in Every Line!
The STAEDTLER 35-03B Mechanical Pencil is a fantastic tool for anyone who values precision and quality. Whether you’re an artist, designer, student, or professional, this mechanical pencil delivers clean, consistent lines every time. The 0.3mm lead size is perfect for detailed work, technical drawings, and fine writing.I appreciate the sturdy, well-balanced build — it feels comfortable to hold for extended periods, and the grip provides excellent control. The lead advances smoothly without jamming, and the retractable tip protects the lead and prevents breakage, making it ideal for travel or daily use. This pencil is reliable, durable, and designed to make detailed work effortless. If you’re looking for a mechanical pencil that combines precision and comfort, the STAEDTLER 35-03B is a top-notch choice!

Greatest pencil I've ever used.
Very well made. The weight and balance is very pleasing. The metal casing is very high quality. It feels amazing to write/sketch with. Honestly, well worth the price. I ordered a second one of all three sizes for a different pencil hardness lol. My only gripe is that there's no 0.7mm or 0.9mm in the matte black, but it's not a very legitimate one lol - 0.3mm, 0.5mm, and 2mm honestly covers most of the ground for me.

A great purchase
It’s sleek, durable, and has a good weight to it. It all ready comes with pre-sharpen lead which is a plus. I love the black coloring and is probably the best 2mm you will find.

Solid pencil
Amazing pencil with good build quality. After a couple drops pencil top can become loose but can be fixed with pliers and light pressure. Great weight, thickness, and knurled grip.

All black version
Staedtler 0.3mm 925 is a great and attractive metal mechanical pencil. I needed a solid 0.3mm pencil so this was my choice and no regrets. I have several other pencils in 0.3mm somehow gravitate towards this one. A nice weight/heft. Forward (towards its lead tip) balance. Excellent writing with some quality paper and "B" 0.3mm leads by UNI nano, Pentel Ain Stein, or Pilot Neox (a superb quality smooth, or glossy, papers tend to create too much sliding, and, consequently, an urge for the user to increase pressure on the pencil. So, a choice of paper that offers a bit of friction does better). Overall: GREAT. All black version 9had to have it). Nice manufacturer packaging. Made in Japan.Negative: no retractable tip.

Undeniable Quality
I got this because I have the 0.5mm versión from years ago, as soon as I saw this version I knew I had to get it.It does not dissapoint, at all, you can feel the quality, how easy it is to use, worth my money, no problem. My 0.5 is still in amazing shape after so many uses, I asume this one will be the same.

Among the best!
The 925 is one of the best drafting pencils on the market! It has a nice weight to it, a hardness indicator and a nice knurled grip. Unfortunately, the paint can wear off if you're just tossing them in a bag together, so I'd recommend a little more care when storing them. The hardness indicator isn't the best, either, since you have to unscrew the grip slightly to rotate it, but if you keep the same grade, it's not a big deal (and it works fine, I just prefer the Rotring's indicator). Outside of those minor issues (which aren't really "issues"), it's a fantastic pencil, and I will be buying more sizes.
