Great idea, lots of great questions and conversation provoking sections.
Bought this for my teen step daughters mother & father . They separated when she was very young & its beautiful for her to be able to see & read their stories.

A beautiful idea to connect more with a loved one.
I bought this for my mother earlier this year. It's a great gift idea, and the questions inside are thoughtful, somewhat deep, and can evoke memories of things a mother may not think to speak to their children about. The only issue was that some of the language used was Americanised, so some of the questions aren't quite as relevant to British culture, although you could easily work around this by assuming British terminology in place of this (e.g. "What school year were you in when..." instead of the book's "What grade were you in when...")Overall, im glad something like this exists, even to just increase communication between yourself and your mother.8/10

Good way to capture her story
I got the "Mum, I Want to Hear Your Story" book, and it's a wonderful way to learn more about my mum's life. The book has thoughtful questions that guide her to share memories and experiences. It's a special way to preserve her story for future generations. Definitely recommend it if you want a meaningful keepsake.

Amazing book for your mother to complete
I can’t give this anything less than 5 stars. It has so much inside of it that asks questions of your mothers life and it will be great once it’s filled in and completed and something you can keep and cherish the memories of your mother for the rest of your life. You also will learn things you never knew when reading through this once it’s complete.

It's okay. Better as a stocking stuffer.
It's okay. Some details on it are really cheap. The cover is really waxy and feels awful to hold. The cut of the cover is really rough and frayed. Some of the text in the book is pixely, just not as polished as I was hoping it to be.The prompts are nice, almost want some of them to dig a bit deeper and have some more pages for asking about the present time in her lofe and not just the past. The sentiment is nice overall but I'd say the publisher and/or the author wanted to cut some costs so cut some corners in the manufacturing side.

Beautiful and emotional book
Ive bought this as I'm really unwell and there have been times when it's been touch and go. It's an emotional thing as a mum to fill in but I know my children will look back on it fondly.
