I often forget to turn on the outdoor lights in the evening, so I started looking into whether or not there were any candelabra style (E12) bulbs that could solve the problem for me. First, I tried some candelabra smart bulbs by Lumiman, but their light was exceptionally harsh. Instead of trying a different smart bulb brand (Hue bulbs are _so_ overpriced), I rolled the dice on these Sunco dawn-to-dusk bulbs in the warmest tone, 2700K. I'm so glad I did! They look great. Not _quite_ as beautiful as incandescents, but really close. I despise harsh and/or blue light more than 99.9% of people on Earth—I'm very sensitive to even a hint of glare or blueness—and these bulbs don't set off my "ick" response at all. They're a warm, soft white but also bright enough to light my pathway and driveway. And I love, love, love that I don't have to download an app to use them. Just screw them in and forget it! I also love the enhanced security of being able to leave the lights on all night. For me, they worked exactly as expected. At night, they turn themselves on. In the morning, they turn themselves off. Note: my lantern-style lights have clusters of bulbs right next to one another. For me, this did not affect the performance. In other words, the light from the adjacent bulbs did not keep the others on during daylight, as reported in some reviews. The lights do turn themselves off maybe a little after what I expected (an hour or so after sunrise?), but I think having the lights on until 7:30AM is a small price to pay for never having to think about turning them off or on again. And I mean _literally_ a small price to pay. I used one of those online calculators to figure out how much it will cost to have these on all night (and into the early morning) and it's still just a tiny fraction of what it costs to have incandescents on for just four or five hours at night. Now, I'm planning on getting some for the back patio area now too!

These work great and are very bright!

They looked amazing and were a nice warm bright. However, they only worked for three days then the lights stayed on continuously. I would have to turn the lights off in the morning and then back on again in the evening. That defeats the purpose of purchasing these dusk to dawn light bulbs. Update 11/01/2025: The lights started back working after me physically having to turn them off and on for two days. They have been working correctly for the past four days now; however, they come on about an hour too early. I would rather have them working and coming on an hour early than not working at all. With that being said, I’m going to change my one star to four stars. Also, the owner of the store was very nice to work with. Without me asking, they are replacing my lightbulbs, and they did not ask me to change the rating or update my review.

The Sunco dusk to dawn lights are working great. Very helpful

The run all night 24/7/365 in porch fixture (and off all day) ... all automatically . 3000K is good color-temp for our cameras. They seem to last about 3-4 years (using barely any power).

Our backyard is quite dark, and the long winter nights don't help. We have a lamp post, but no one wants to go outside to turn it on and off every night. The wall-mounted timer also no longer works. However, these new bulbs are fantastic. Now, when the dog is outside, I can see clearly, and the light adds a charming touch. The bulbs are pretty bright. The lamp post is designed to hold three candelabra bulbs, but I'm only using two and it's plenty.

All bulbs of first boxes were not Dusk to Dawn. I returned and received second box. Again, they all were not Dusk to Dawn. I called SUNCO for Troubleshooting; he said just returned.

These bulbs are not dusk to dawn, or not sensitive enough for it to work. They stay on in broad day light if you leave the switch on. The color is also too bright for ‘warm white’.

The lights are nice, if you don't want the dusk till dawn feature they are a nice light. The dusk till dawn didn't work on any of my bulbs

If you leave them on for longer then 8 hours they go out. You have to turn them off and back on.
