Quality red dot for the price. I don't need a closed emitter, I'm not going to be using this red dot in adverse conditions. Mostly the range and in my nightstand gun safe. The glass is clear with no tint to it like some other red dots. Auto brightness is probably going to be too dim but it can be deactivated. It's a feature I never needed so I don't care about that. The build quality is great, fit and finish look good and zeroing was simple and easy with the provided tool. My first holosun but it won't be my last after this experience! I have a couple cheaper red dots that are well known value brands but this one is definitely worth a little extra.

It's a Holosun, I expected it to be very well made, and my expectations were met, its a great red dot, the 2 MOA dot isn't as difficult to find as other would suggest just takes some practice with it, looks great on my EDC though and for the price it is definitely worth it.

In my rigorous search for a highly reliable optic, I carefully compared several options before ultimately selecting this model. I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. The green dot stands out for its exceptional clarity and functionality. It remains perfectly centered without any drift and maintains an impressive brightness that is highly visible even in direct, glaring sunlight. It has held its zero consistently through heavy and repetitive use, demonstrating excellent durability and reliability. Solid product, fits perfectly. The dot stays bright even outside. Great value for the money, there isn’t a better option.

As long as you understand this is a 2 MOA dot you should be happy. I debated about getting the 407 or 507 and decided on the 407 and the dot is pretty small. Which is great for accuracy, not as great for ease of acquiring the dot if you’re not used to one. But with practice it definitely gets easier. Still, a 6 MOA dot would be much faster for someone new to red dots I think. But as far as quality and reliability, I haven’t had it long, but so far so good. I’m happy with it.

nice optic, easy install

This is my 1st venture with a red dot sight for a handgun. It's rugged, and get's the job done. In my opinion it might be worth spending $30-40 more and get the 507 that has the circle and dot. With the small dot, if you move your head the dot moves around a lot. Only put about 100 rds down range with it, still gonna take some getting used to it. I do recommend putting locktite on the screws.

Not new to optics, but new to pistol optics. This is solid out of the box, holds zero and came already zeroed out to 25 yds. Only some micro adjustments and I was grouping and hitting steal in just a few iterations. Bonus for the battery mounting on the side hopefully won't have to confirm zero every year like my buddy and his rmr. I mounted mine to a springfield echelon, did nicely and complements the weapon perfectly.
