Great for killing echo for tiktok videos.
Spent ages contemplating getting these. I make tiktok videos from my desk and the office I use is really echoey on account or not having many soft furnishings. These tiles were recommended on the soundscape website so I thought I’d give them a shot.First the bad. These tiles come packed tightly which severely squashes and deforms them. When you first open the package you may, like me, totally regret your purchase. However in the pack is instructions to soak them in water. So into the bath they went. Left them to soak over night. I don’t know if they needed to be soaked for this long but I chose overnight cos it was the only time the bath was free!Next morning squeezed out the water and left them to dry on a windowsill for a day. I’m pleased to say after this soaking they doubled in thickness! And the shape was as perfect as you would want. The tiles come with sticky strips. DO NOT USE THESE! They are horrible. The glue will rip the back off your tile if you ever want to remove them. I used Velcro self adhesive tape, cut into little pieces for each corner. Much better! Now, the good part: sound. Bare in mine these are not for soundproofing. They are best used for reducing echo and flattening sound. And they do this brilliantly. There’s still a slight echo in the room because I’ve only used one pack, but it’s massively reduced. A fringe benefit is the sound coming from the speakers on the back of my monitor has massively improved.Really happy with these and will probably buy another pack in the future.

Reduce sound reflection.
The panels (they assumed shape/form after being left for 24 hours) were uniform in colour and size. They intend to reduce noise reflection ( sound waves bouncing off hard surfaces) and they do help. They are easily unpacked/received being tightly packaged under pressure.I reduced to four stars as the panels are very soft. I have used other products which are firmer to handle and the advantage with this is that you can cut them more successfully. Softer panels, such as this Donner product are more tricky to cut. If you are intending to place them without a need to shorten them when reaching a corner or ceiling then fine.

Used to dampen the noise of a Boiler
Very easy to use and it sticks well to my wallpaper and wooden door. Used to dampen the noise of a boiler next to my bed room. Although I had used other things such as thicker pipe insulation and loft insulation around the boiler I do feel like the pads have complimented them. :FYI: they are NOT sound proof, so don't use these to solve a sound issue but instead use these as extras as they will help that way

Top quality product
I bought this as I wanted a sound buffer for an adjoining wall when I was practicing and following installation, my neighbour noticed a significant difference. So this product is certainly worth buying, especially since you get 12 foam squares of a very good quality, another massive bonus that I was not expecting was being supplied with a large number of 3M double sided sticking squares, which is something I was not expecting and as expected they stick to the foam very well. However, I do recommend that you press squares into the foam and gently peel the strip off as the adhesive is strong and can tear the foam. Another thing I would recommend is to let the squares air out for at least a week before putting them up as once you open them there is a strong chemical smell, which is expected as it is foam, despite the instructions advising a day, I felt that after a week the smell was less prominent and the squares had a good shape as they are packed very tightly. Overall, great value for money and well worth it.

Awful - Damaged due to packaging
Arrived vacuum sealed as well as with multiple layers of tape wrapped around keeping it all together. The tape was digging in to the panels in multiple places and has deformed and damaged the panels. A quarter of the panels won’t inflate past a couple of centimetres, half are damaged and warped, and the other quarter are just about useable. Once inflated they look great, but I’m not spending £30 on 12 for 3/4 useable panels.

Perfect
I put these up in my office over the door, I can now type and talk at a normal level without disrupting anyone else.Be sure to separate each one and leave them to the air for 48hrs before sticking them to the wall. This won't create a "dead room" but you're not paying those sorts of prices. Brilliant for muffling sound coming out of a room. Providing you're not screaming and yelling at FIFA. I used some double sided sticky tape. Worked a treat.

It works but not as soundproofing
My new tiny bedroom had only my bed and no other furniture, these Acoustic foams helped with the excessive reverb on the walls but it did very little regarding soundproofing the windows. Maybe it works better if I would cover the whole wall, but it's hard to tell. They look very nice on the walls as decoration and gave the room a pleasant look as it matches the black curtains. It came very quickly and well packed, it's a little thinner than I thought it would be but I liked them.

Get what you pay for
Great quality for the price - you can expect some of the foam to be uneven when you first unpackage it, typically these need 24 hours to fully expand as they are flat packed.Tedious to attach the 3M tape, but you are supplied with 6 pieces per panel, which is adequate :)Overall I am happy with the quality, look and effect. If you're looking for higher quality, professional grade panels, you will need to spend a lot more, but these do the job :)
