Excellent! I've tried to go lighter with bleach & dyes over the past two years, but nothing has worked like this. I have 4c hair that is grey in some places & this lightened my hair beautifully, so that the grey blends in with the blonde. Easy to use instructions, great after care conditioner that eliminated the yellow undertones. Brilliant price too.

My hair was very dark after box dyeing it black (Clairol Nice & Easy demi permanent and LIVE colour black permanent) for around a decade. I'm naturally medium to dark brown.I wasn't expecting it to work on my hair so I decided to do it on just the ends and I was pleasantly surprised with how much the colour was lifted. It wasn't anything like the box indicated- I followed instructions to a T, however, it turned a really nice copper brown. I washed with purple shampoo after. I then used the same bleach 2 weeks later to achieve a lighter look and I am happy with the result. I may do another session in a couple of months time to lighten further. I’d not used this one before, and I did my patch test as instructed (mainly because I wanted to see if it would do anything to the faded blue I have on the bottom of my hair and it didn’t but I had no reaction).Followed guidance to the letter and it’s still yellow tinged and a few bits where I possibly need to touch it up slightly but it was so strong I don’t want to put any more bleach on my hair for quite some time - I usually only do it every three months anyway but think I might need to leave it longer. I did this as a base as I intended to keep colouring it bright colours so in that regards it worked, but I might try a couple of weeks of using purple shampoo to see if I can tone it to a cooler shade, I’d love it pure white but I’d have to get that done properly my hair is in no state to do that myself. The pic I’ve added doesn’t really show the yellowy but as that’s nearer the back.I felt like my face went really hot about 8hrs after doing it and I checked nhs website and it might just have been a mild reaction so I took an antihistamine, fell back asleep & was then fine so just be careful - it might just be I’mrun down and susceptible to anything haha!As an aside, I use herbal essences hair heat protect oil every time I dry my hair & I started taking hair/nail vitamins about 6weeks ago and I don’t know if it’s just the placebo effect or if it’s because I was trying not to wash/dry it so often it felt in better condition. Will carry on taking them now I’ve put this dye on!

It worked really well! I used this to lighten dark brown to blonde so I could add bright blue after, it worked really well. There were a few sections that were a tad orange but I think they were on the darker sections of brown so it didn't lift as well. Over all very good and I'd buy again.

Great hair dyePerfect colour

Don’t use this stuff I used it the other day and the fumes that came off it were absolutely unbelievable! It irritated my throat and my breathing and it’s left me with a pounding headache for about 3 days now! And worst of all it did nothing to my hair no lift what so ever so I have reason to believe the product that were sent to me were over it’s recommended shelf date iv not felt right ever since using it, I had to contact 111 service, if my headache isn’t gone by tomorrow its a trip to the A&E department! Now bear in mind iv used this product before when it used to be on shelves and had no problem with it so I am almost certain it were out of date. Watch what you buy from Amazon now because these third party sellers have been known to sell unsafe products
