Works great!
If this is the right replacement for your salt cell housing, installation is a quick 5-minute process. Works great, and at half the price our pool company was quoting. It's been running for about two weeks now and we haven't had any leaks or other issues with it.

Seems built better
Glad to see they've beefed it up, definitely necessary. This is my 3rd housing in 10 years. Also glad to see they've incorporated couplings (which is what I did 5 years ago with my first replacement). But seriously...$200 and you couldn't include the o-ring?!?

Removeable is a must.
I have a power clean salt generator and my biggest complaint is the salt cell housing cracks every few years. The old cement-on ones are such a hassle to replace so this removable design is a smart upgrade. Still, $200 is a ridiculous price for a plastic canister, especially since I know I have to replace it every few years… At least it will be much easier next time.
