This is by far the best battery operated hot glue gun I have used. I bought 2 different ones. This one holds a charge has a good indicator light and cordless when on the go.

**Update** I was contacted by the company after making this review. They asked me some basic questions about what I attempted to do and requested that I send them a video showing the issue. After doing that they told me they would send me a brand new gun to replace the broken one! I was pleasantly surprised by this. I have since received the new gun, it is a different model but I figured it really didn’t matter as long as it was still cordless and worked well. I have to say, I LOVE this new gun! It works great, stands on its own and heats up very quickly. I have never had a company come back from a 1 star review to a 5 star but they did it! So if you’re considering this brand, I can say that they truly do stand behind their products and are willing to go above and beyond to make sure that their customers are happy. Their products work well and I would definitely recommend!I have had this glue gun since February, I’ve used it probably 15 times since then. I have been extra cautious to not do anything incorrectly, like never pulling a glue stick back out once it’s been placed in the gun. Today I went to use it and it will not flow no matter what I do. I’ve cleaned the nozzle, made sure it was fully charged, gave it extra time to heat up, nothing. So I got the user manual out and followed the instructions for troubleshooting which lead me to removing the stick and then using a new one, still nothing. So if you plan to use this tool on a regular basis I wouldn’t recommend this one. I now have multiple projects I need to complete and I can’t because I have no glue gun. I only gave 2 stars because it worked great until it didn’t :/

No stars for it! It worked great the first time around…but then stopped working. It charges and green battery light comes on but the heating light never changes to green. It doesn’t heat up anymore. What a waste of $$!

Heats up quickly and works great, will have to see how much use I get on a charge.

I use this product for my church and home arts and crafts projects.

The first thing that I do is to read the manual that comes with any tools so that I can know how to properly operate them. This manual needs re-working. That probably has to do with it being made in China and not having someone read it before printing.The diagram of the device with the numbered parts are on page 3 at the beginning of the book, but you have to turn to page 8 at the back of the book for the explanation of the diagram numbers. And then the next page (page 9) has "before starting the equipment" which should be at the front of the booklet. Needless to say, I took the booklet apart and put the pages in the proper order so that they made sense.Now for the operation of the unit:The instructions say to push the power button for 2 seconds. This did nothing for me. I have to hold it down for a minimum of 5 seconds in order for it to do anything. Then the power will come on. The booklet states that it takes 100 seconds to heat up. Mine takes at least 5 minutes before it is ready to use.You place a glue stick in and push it until it stops. But that didn't work for me. I pushed on the trigger and nothing happened. I found that I had to push the glue stick in completely (it took one whole glue stick plus one before it would extrude any hot glue). And when you have add another glue stick, if it isn't in over half way, it won't pull in the stick. That is a drawback.I didn't find that it lasted very long at all. I was using it intermittently and it lasted about 15 minutes before I had to charge it again.The glue did come out properly but it takes much longer to cool than it states as well.Overall, I wouldn't recommend this glue gun. It is pretty, but pretty is just cosmetic and not functional.
