Very good rasam
If you have not yet discovered rasam, do so. A great savory, light soup. If you want to lose a little weight rasam helps with cravings. It really tastes great, and this is a fine example of rasam powder.

The person who said "I love spicy food but this is too spicy to eat so I threw it away" is what convinced me to buy it, and I'm so glad I did! It has good heat, and more than that it has great flavor. I haven't used it for actual rasam yet(which I can't wait to do!) but have been using it as a spice and mostly adding it to rice. Chicken stock instead of water and add a tbsp or so of this to the pot of rice, you won't go back! Highly recommend, I will be buying more when I run out

too hot for me to eat
I grew up in south Louisiana eating cayenne-spiced foods as a child. I can tolerate hot (spicy) foods. But not this Rasam. I ate half a bowl and threw away all that was left in the pot.
