SKIPPY, Peanut Butter Spread, Creamy 16 oz (12 Pack)

This was my first time using any Skippy product. I was skeptical as I have always used another well known sugar free, natural peanut butter but, I have to say, I was very pleased with the product. I mainly use peanut butter in my homemade granola mix. I use a whole jar to make a batch and I need it to be sugar free, tasty, creamy, a good consistency, easy to melt in a pan and healthy. This peanut butter hit every single item on my list. I bought a case of it as that was the best price point and I go through it rather quickly. It arrived in good shape and with no damage. Highly recommend.

I like peanut butter and usually make my own, but alas....sometimes I go the easier route. I decided to try these. Came well shipped. Nothing broken or leaking. Any they taste like the wonderful Skippy ! They do have more 'oil' than homemade, but most processed nut butters will have that addition to make spreading easier. These matched the price i usually paid for Skippy on sale. I bought in bulk because when the local grocery puts it on sale, there is a very good chance the shelf will be empty when I get there.

I normally buy a more expensive no sugar added peanutbutter. I decided to try this to save some money and I'm glad that I did! It has a creamy consistency with a great flavor. Others have stated that the oil separates. It does but not by much. I turn the jar upside down. That fixes the issue for me. For the price this is a great alternative to the more expensive brand.

There are plenty of other natural and NSA peanut butters out there...and almost all of them suck, as far as I’m concerned. True, an unaccompanied pile of peanuts ground into a gooey, gritty, oily puddle is perfectly legitimate peanut butter. But it’s just not the sort of peanut butter this millennial grew up eating. In my opinion, good peanut butter stays stuck on an upside-down spoon indefinitely. And good NSA peanut butter should have two or three ingredients maximum: good, roasty peanuts; palm oil for the right texture and emulsification; and maybe just a bit of salt, all mixed into a perfectly smooth, silky, creamy, nutty substance that holds its shape on flat surfaces and melts on the tongue (strangely uniform chopped peanuts optional, depending on one’s preference for creamy or crunchy). And this peanut butter...this is it. It’s everything I wanted from Skippy, and nothing I didn’t want. And it even comes adorned with the same nostalgic colors I pulled out of the pantry as a child. Well done, Skippy.

I bought a case of this peanut butter during one of Amazon's flash deals. It was an amazing price. And my kids eat these things straight out the jar. So yes I got a great deal on it hopefully they'll offer that deal again soon

No, it's not sugary but good taste

WOW! Great flavor and price. I will be stocked up for a long time. I eat so much peanut butter while trying to stay fit and watch my sugar intake so this was great!
