I have owned the Pro 3 series cameras over 3 years. The battery life lasts well over a month (sometimes 3+). I currently have 4 regular pro 3 plus one pro 3 spotlight. I couldn't be happier. I live in a semi rural area with lots of wildlife. Deer, coyotes, Fisher Cats etc. I love how the cameras zooms in/out and tracks the animal or human. I also love how it automatically assigns a label such as human, animal, vehicle or package delivery.***I highly recommend purchasing JUST ONE extra GENUINE ARLO BATTERY, not some no name knockoff and a cradle charger. Then swap the charged battery for the low battery when needed. Meanwhile use the cradle charger to recharge the low battery so it's ready for the next change out. ***You can purchase extra mounts fairly cheap. ***As for range, i am also impressed. I keep the hub near a window in the middle of the house and it receives all my cameras throughout the property, front back, sides and outer reach of the one acre of land I own.

I love this system !Very easy to install. The hub Does need to be connected to the router with an eithernet.It tells you if it sees people or animals or many other kinds of alerts. The night time color is amazing! The light is bright too! Also the sound is so much better than the 1st and 2nd arlo proThe pro 3 is worth the money. Either spend thr money for this or go cheap and get zmodo. Ive had both and zmodo offers less features but still good quality and speed and simple. I love my arlo system

This is a nice functioning camera. I added it to my additional two camera setup and it has higher resolution and much better audio quality than the original 1080p cameras. I think that the magnetic charger is nice but problematic if you lose the charger dongle since there is no standard USB plug for fallback charging. I will probably not buy any more Arlo devices since the app constantly bugs you to upgrade to premium services even if you prefer to store files locally. Not cool Netgear. Don't bug me with an advertisement when I'm just trying to check what's going on in my backyard.

I bought this refurbished because, even with all of the good reviews, they are really expensive new. They came in a refurbished box but everything inside was packaged up very well and looked brand new. The quickstart card made setting them up easy. The only difficulty was trying to align them since getting a live image was difficult, though that was likely due to the poor internet and cell reception at my parents' house. Since I got them set up and angled properly though, they've worked great. The wide angle covers their entire front lawn. I get notified any time a car drives in and if someone approaches the front door. They haven't been installed long enough to really know how the battery will hold up but so far they're exactly what I hoped they'd be.

I have had Arlo cameras for about 6 years. The early generation of cameras worked well, had great battery life, and I could view two weeks of videos online for free! Unfortunately, due to the pursuit of maximum profit for the manufacturer, all of the good attributes of Arlo cameras are now gone. In the new generation of Arlo cameras, the battery is non-removable which means you have to dismount the camera to charge it. You also need to bring the camera inside to let it warm up before charging or it will not accept a charge. If you live in a cold climate, this is very annoying. The battery held a charge for about two weeks for the first six months and now the battery must be charged every two days! You can not view video from their new cameras unless you pay them a monthly subscription fee. Finally, they sent a notice to all owners of older Arlo cameras informing them that they would be dropping support effective at the end of the first quarter of 2023. Well, magic happened in that a few months after we got the notice of discontinuation of support, 4 out of 5 of my Arlo cameras, no longer work. The video on each affected camera is now filled with wavy lines making it impossible to view the video. I find it very suspicious that so soon after their notice, my older cameras have stopped working. I believe that in the early years, Arlo had a great product and cared about customer support. However, their current cameras are junk, do not hold a charge, require additional fees, and their ongoing support is poor. In light of all of the negatives, you should think very carefully and be wary of buying any ARLO products or services.

Note this is a refurbished / renewed item, not new and not latest generation of the camera. I determined I didn't need the latest version, nor did I want to pay for the pleasure since my existing cameras work exactly the way I need them.... So I already had several other Arlo cameras and a hub at my vacation home, but needed one more that included spotlight to watch the garage doors... I used an exterior mount and installed as battery ( I don't feel the need for wiring power or solar) operation. Only snag I hit was assuming this version of the camera would use the same recharge cable as my other prior-gen Arlos, which is not the case. So I had to charge the battery separate from my other cameras. Not a big deal, just don't lose the new cable as it is a different solution altogether. Camera has performed well, and I would buy another.

I love these cameras. Easy to install and works great! They capture everything, even a wasp lol. It has an alarm, speaking capabilities, security light turns on with movement in the dark, and more. I wish we would have bought the solar powered ones but that’s ok. There is also a delay in the communication when you talk from your phone to the camera if someone is at your house. You can see and control everything from your phone. It also stores the memory for you.
