Great item at fantastic price
Very pleased with my display cabinet. It was easy to put together and was very sturdy. The colour was described as oak but it was a bit lighter than I expected not a problem as it was only going in the spare room. It does weigh quite a bit but as yet I don't need it fixed to the wall. There's plenty of room for my display items and only one wouldn't fit in because it had a wide plinth on the bottom. The price was very reasonable compared to others I had looked at. After many years I now have my collection on display.

Good but at the Right Price
I agree with other reviewers, this is a decent cabinet but not at £75, I paid £40 and am well satisfied.True it is only cheap chipboard but when put together it's sturdy and looks good.I, like other have strengthened the corners with metal L shaped brackets to make sure it remains square. The sliding glass door are fine but I needed to clear out some little shavings from the track before they would slide easily which they now do . Follow the picture instructions and assembly is easy.I would definitely buy another one at this price.

Exceeded my expectations.
I ordered the 7 tier version but didn’t have much hope after reading the negative reviews regarding the finish and glass doors falling out after hanging on the wall. However, I can honestly say at the price point this product exceeded my expectations. The finish is excellent and absolutely no issues there. My biggest worry was the glass doors falling out when hung onto the wall. However, this is very easily avoided. I used two heavy duty L brackets (£6 Amazon) and these now take the brunt of the weight. This stops the weight of the unit when on the wall from slightly stretching and keeps the doors firmly in place. I will add a photo.Very sturdy and easy to build. If you’re looking for something with the measurement on this unit, look no further.

Very Cheap quality display shelf
Item: 5-tier wall display shelf in rustic brown. I give this three stars because it was less than £50 and hasn't fallen apart yet! It does look quite nice, from a distance, but there are so many issues with the material quality that I don't recommend you purchase this.Pros:Quite easy to put together. Screws to hold the back on, rather than tacks/nails. Decent glass doors. 12kg weight.Cons:Only 8 screws to hold the outside frame together (two for each corner). The back board is essential for holding the cabinet together. The chipboard is of the cheapest quality and so the screws can be overtightened and become loose. The edges don't line up properly. The rustic brown "laminate" over the chipboard is literally a printed paper and was already torn a little, before I put it together (see photo). The surface will not survive any kind of liquids or hard rubbing! The glass doors have rounded edges so are safe to pick up and slide OK, but the groove for your fingers is jagged, see photo. There are two brackets provided to hang the cabinet up, which are flat. The problem is that all the screws that hold the bracket and the back board to the frame are with rounded dome heads and are not countersunk. So when you hang the cabinet up, all the screw heads sit against the wall and can scratch the surface of the wall. Screws should have been countersunk or standoffs provided.Since this cabinet is only for my personal use, I have kept it and used it, but I don't recommend this if you want to place it where you want show off your items with pride.

Not worth the price
I really want to give this a better review because sadly it seems to the be only product of its type at a reasonable price point but I can’t. The level of quality would potentially be less jarring at about £20 less. The dimensions were perfect for me so I have kept it and will touch it up with black paint but if I had other options I’d return it based on quality. I know this is a budget item but it is fairly shoddy. The laminated surface is poor in a lot of places not due to damage but just poor quality. It’s flimsy so getting it put together square isn’t easy. The construction itself is simple but the finished product lets it down. See pics for the type of quality you will be dealing with.As an aside the packaging was odd. Whatever was used produced very tiny little fibres similar to fibreglass all over everything which was a little concerning.Annoyingly I would probably buy another one if I wanted a matching one but it’s nowhere near worth the amount it is priced at.Functionally it works, the doors slide, the glass appears to be ok, the runners the glass slides in are cheap and I had to sand the corners of the glass as they were sharp enough to bite into the cheap plastic runners.

Do the job
Bought to display model lorries 1:50 scale. The display cabinets look really well but the holes for the screws aren't all drilled nor are they lined up great. Do the job though.
