Alltooetools 15PC Thread Repair Tool M10 X 1.25mm Metric Helicoil Type Kit with HSS Drill Bit, Thread Inserts

Broke a bolt working on an old car and this tool helped address the issue. Bolt extractor didn't work. My only recommendation is to go slow when tapping the new thread and inserting the heli-coil. I did a test on a piece of scrap aluminum and the threads were a little messed up the first time. The second time I took my time inserting the heli-coil and it fit perfectly.

Was a little skeptical when I saw that the Helical Coil Repair Tool was made in China. However, I must admit that it was easy to use, fairly priced and worked as advertised. If you can read & follow directions, this thread repair kit is just as good as the leading helical thread repair kit.

First time thread repair on the bolt holes for my turbo to manifold. Previous owner of my car damaged the threads and was using a bolt through hole to nut method which was a major pain to install/remove. This kit didn't break the bank and took the 45 ft lbs like a champ. I didn't have to use the drill bit so can't comment on that but everything else I used on the kit was good.

To fix damaged thread of a stud's hole for my 2003 Hyundai Elantra's Exhaust Manifold. It works But be Very Carefully to the steps and processes of the operations. There is NO Turning Back available if the process is messed up.

As long as you can drill a hole straight and know how to tap holes properly you will have zero issues with this kit. Plus you'll keep some cash in your pocket!

Repaired the exhaust manifold studs on a Subaru n/a 2.5l. Just remove header and follow instructions, did this in my own driveway without having to pull the engine

Got here quickly with prime.Did what I needed it to do, worked well, seems to be good quality. Finished the job.
