My cat ....my very picky cat.... loves this stuff! Perfect portion sizes, and great value for the money! I'm happy when my cat is happy. :)

Well.... The main thing is that my cat DEMANDS this brand only!!! Gemma is an old super screamer, so she gets what she wants, LOL! I appreciate the convenience of packaging of (supposedly) individual servings, light weight portability vs cans. My Vet seemed to be okay with the nutritional properties. My girl seems to preference the Fish flavors over the others.The Cons for me are: The Pricy PRICE, it can be difficult to pull foil cover off, and very easy to cut yourself on the thin foil edges of pull-off top seal (paper-cuts on steroids)!I also believe their idea of a serving size is on the very LOW End/edge of the scale at 1.32 oz per pod serving and with a day's total of 2.64 0z (if you give them the twin pack as daily serving as the setup and advertising kinda leads you to believe). Serving recommendations for an adult cat per day are 7 - 11 oz. So this is super expensive, and Now, my cat won't eat anything else at 4-5 twin packs per day/24 hrs. I keep looking for a less expensive alternative. A 48 oz pack at almost $30 will give you appropriately (using the low end intake requirement of 7 oz/day) only 6.857 days of food for your cat! Sadly, this is just too expensive for a social security only budget. Looking for a less expensive dupe.

Cosmo, my orange boy, has a bowl of IAMS kibbles available 24/7 and has Sheba for breakfast and supper, but only the pate, not the cuts. I tried the cuts but he licked up the gravy and left the solid bits in the bowl so, complete waste of money. In spring and summer he eats fish, Sheba salmon and whitefish & tuna. In fall and winter he eats poulty, Sheba turkey and chicken. It just makes sense to purchase in quantity. It's important to give our pets food they enjoy that's also healthy for them. Money well spent.

I have tried so many different wet cat foods and I would highly recommend this one. I just wish it came in cans vs the small individual serving packages .

I don't know when i previously reviewed this. This is an Update which I'll date this time: 12/03/2024: The Sheba arrived well except the box itself was opened because the shipping tape used by Amazon was not square on the flaps but instead off to the side. It had two sets of dog treats in it as well, but at least everything was intact. It would have been nice to even see some paper wrap in there. But... all's well that ends well, and this is favorite food! So we'll keep buying it, and Amazon is the easiest place to get it. Otherwise, a trip to the local big box store/s doesn't always have it after we make the almost 1.5 hour round-trip drive to buy it. So... Amazon it is.***********************We received our SHEBA Perfect Portions Paté Wet Cat Food Trays (24 Count, 48 Servings), Tender Whitefish and Tuna nestled in separate box in their plastic trays. I was concerned about how they might arrive with them being a soft, wet food with only a foil-type cover. However, they arrived intact with no punctures or spills. All good on that.I might have asked for separate packaging. I don't remember. If you get the option to have the items put inside Amazon packaging, I would recommend choosing that. At this point there is no additional charge for it in order to give your products a little more packing. In truth, they should be packing things like this extra-well in the first place because... who wants cat food pate broth all over their other purchases? I wouldn't. But this shipment of pate arrived in good order.The date was well into the future (about a year), so that was also good. We are currently working on finishing our last week of the packets we have, so we did not open these immediately. If anything notable happens regarding the food quality once we open this batch, I'll update the review.As far as the pate itself goes, my cat loves this brand and flavor. He won't eat other brands or flavors, so we stock up on this when I go to the store. I needed to restock and the store was out, so this was the only option. I am grateful that this arrived in a timely manner as guaranteed.I would give this 5 stars if we'd already opened and tested the actual pate and found it 5-star worthy. Although my cat loves it, I'd have to say he loves it for the first few minutes of eating it. He'll come running and "crying" for it like he hasn't been fed in a week (he's well-fed), but within minutes, he'll turn his head to it. It doesn't take long for this to get hard and gray looking. He usually eats from the middle, so I have learned if I flip the little shape upside down, he thinks it's fresh and will eat a little through that "new" pate, too. It would be nicer if it held a fresher smell and color a little longer than just a few minutes, literally. So for that - I'll give this 4 stars.

My cats did not like this flavor it the neighbors cats did. My cat so like the turkey better

My cats went on a hunger strike and so I decided to switch it up and get Sheba and they love it. Hunger strike over! Now it’s the only food they eat (pate only) with a sprinkling of temptations on top 3x a day. I feel like it’s much better quality than what they we’re eating and they’re happy

Good portion. Just nice. Not wasted.
