Never go to the beach without it!
Excellent beach umbrella! Easy to use, easy to adjust, large enough to cover my whole body in the chair. I had the older umbrella and it was a little difficult to tighten to my chair, but this updated version has a twist handle that makes it super easy to tighten. They also updated the padding on the part that you attach to your chair and it grips the chair better. I had the older version and I used it every day for the entire summer, and not a single issue. I had to buy a new one because it fell off my bike and got run over by a car. I have used this newer version for about a month and it’s great. I highly recommend getting one!

Good quality
Works great. I highly recommend it for shading the face and shoulders without using a big umbrella. It clips on great to the chair. I thought it would be a little bigger, but it’s fine. I recommend getting the larger one because the smaller one would be too small.

Needs help to stay upright… then GREAT
The first hour I used this umbrella was awful… it kept rotating downward and I had to push it back in place over and over. Finally I realized there wasn’t any traction holding the clamp steady on the perfectly round back bar of my chair. No matter what I did, the clamp would sink the umbrella down forward from its weight.I decided to innovate and I took a bungee cord strap I had in my bag, and wrapped it tight around the chair back bar, THEN put the umbrella clamp ontop of that. It worked well to give traction or a grip to the clamp, and the umbrella stays put even in a mild wind. You could probably invent different hacks to make the clamp grip, from duct tape to even the tread stickers they make for shoe bottoms…. But bungee cord wrap will be my solution.I appreciate the three places you can tilt the umbrella …. You can pretty much get whatever sun coverage you want. I collapse the umbrella anytime I leave the chair seat bc otherwise the chair might get blown down in the wind.I recommend this product… but it requires you to fix it so it grips properly.

No complaints! Functions well, mechanism works great, looks nice.
This is a nice piece of gear. The fabric seems like nice quality (we got the navy colored one). The neck of the umbrella has three different "joints" where you can adjust angle, which come in very handy to fine tune your shade. The clamp seems well made. We have to use a flat chair arm (no tubing to clamp to), but even so, it's gripping well. It also seems truly water repellent, so rain doesn't drop through it. The sliding mechanism up inside the umbrella is nicely designed, locking in open position with a satisfying little "snap," but collapsing back down very easily when you want to close it. There's a velcro strap that can be used to bind the umbrella to the pole when not in use, but we find it's quicker and easier to just pull the nice, provided nylon cover down over the closed umbrella (which essentially accomplishes the same thing). I bought it for my wife, who really likes it. So, all aces!

Plastic Clamp isn't very durable.
I'm a crossing guard and sit in the sun in the afternoon. The idea of an umbrella attached to my chair sounded like the perfect solution. I used it for May, August and September....The hottest months that I work. It was great until Friday when the plastic clamp decided it didn't want to clamp anymore. It won't work without that critical component. The actual umbrella is still functioning perfectly. But with out the clamp... Bummer.

The tiltability feature is great
I used this to shade the hummingbird feeder and protect it from the hot sun. I attached it to my deck railing and tilted it to shade the feeder. Works great!

Convenient, easy to use and store, great sun protection
This umbrella is great; exactly as prescribed in video, and easy to adjust. I am currently using it on my deck clamped onto one of my chairs, and it works great! I ordered the regular. I may order an XL, too, to take to outdoor events.

Honest review after multiple uses
This umbrella is a great addition to my wheelchair! The umbrella itself rotates for different amounts of sun coverage, you can rotate the clamp so it can attach to different items and you can adjust the angle of the umbrella. It is easy to attach and detach. I feel it worth the money for easy of mind as I burn easily. You do need to be careful if it's windy as the wind will blow it just like a regular umbrella. I like it so much my friend bought one for her daughters stroller and I got another one to have when we travel out of state. It is easy to use, you just push up the rail of the umbrella to open it and it locks into place and you don't have to worry about pinching your fingers when you close it you slide it down and it closes. Also the storage bag it comes with is nice so that you know it's protected when not in use.
