They fly straight. The grip isn't that good. I threw the case away because taking the cheap flights off every time I use the darts would just destroy the flights. There was also a huge price cutt days after buying

I used to play darts everyday for 10 years and have owned several top end, high quality dart sets in my life and after a break from of several years and having gave away my darts, I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a new set. These darts are surprisingly comparable to those high end darts. I love the weight and balance of them. The shafts are a little long for my taste but that’s purely a preference thing and nothing to do with the. quality of the darts themselves. I use conversion steel tip points and they throw well with those. Great set for the money! Don’t know if it’s a great set for a beginner, due to the weight but I think I saw a lighter version of these in the options which would be much better for starters.
