I received this device yesterday and used it to pick up small sticks and debris in the yard. I have some reacher type pickup devices I use around the house to avoid aggravating my back issues, but the contact area for picking items up is small. Sticks often fall out.This device has a large contact area. I picked up dozens of sticks the first time I used it and none of them fell out. This is going to be a very useful device.I am 6 feet tall and bought the 40" version and it is just the right length.

I got it for my mom so she could grab stuff with it. She's super old right now, so she struggles with grabbing stuff in her garden. This thing would help her if she ever remembered to grab her tools. She had fun with it right after I gave it to her though!

If you’re looking to pick up yard scraps like twigs and pine cones without bending, this works great. Has jaws that grasp and hold when squeezed. Excellent quality (stainless steel) and no plastic parts. No rust. I gave it a 4 star only because it should be about 2 inches longer but still works fine.

These work great. Very sturdy. Believe it or not, I used these to get the leaves out of my super large prickly pear cactus & to also take off the fruit. It’s easy to press the lever to grab things and with the way the grabbers are designed, it holds onto things firmly. Love these! Going to get a couple more!

I bought this to pick up fallen sticks and small branches from my zero turn mower so I don't have to stop and get off the machine. It works great for that. It has plenty of grip to pick up just about anything it's jaws will fit around. Fits my needs for this job perfectly.

Seems to be good quality and works fine… have been using it to pick up rocks from my yard where I had drainage work done and it is a great help to my bad back

Purchased last April 2024, was working well up to about last month. Was picking up pecan branches as it is just about every couple of days, having (35) 120 years old trees. Was hoping this tool could hold up being stainless steel construction, until the handle broke (plastic). The pivot hole in the handle assembly cracked and spread apart, making it useless. You would think stainless steel construction would be just that.

I use this for picking things up while mowing. It’s doing a decent job and will pick up things like small limbs easily. Its flaw is the grip. It should be more like a pistol grip. The straight design is awkward and doesn’t allow you to squeeze as hard and heavier objects are difficult to control.
