How to Become a Medium: A Step-By-Step Guide to Connecting with the Other Side

I found the book to be extremely complete and easy to understand on how to raise my vibrations to talk to spirits. The author gave complete details of the steps to become a medium. She was so kind to reveal much detail that people take years to obtain to developed this skill. But we still have to put many hours to meditate and to developed our skills in groups and with other mediums. Every book has its own gift to the reader but I would say that Mary Anne Kennedy has one of the best books out there on how to become a medium. She is honest, informative and a amazing medium and writer. You won't go wrong if you buy this book. You will read this over and over again because of the valuable information that this book has to offer.

Enjoyed reading but realized Mediumship is not for me. Im scared now...lol

I've read a number of books on communicating with spirits and this is one of the best. It has given me much to think about and exercises to work with. I'm learning just for my own self to communicate with my deceased loved ones and pets. This is a book I plan to read over and over as I continue to grow. It also confirms what many near death experiencers tell us. I felt encouraged by the author's personal experiences and emotions when she began and felt a real connection. Appreciate her honesty and warmth and the way she shares what she does. Great book!

I gave 5 stars because it's very informative, teaches ways to open yourself up to spirit, she filled in most of the gaps I was missing! She's a very gifted medium AND TEACHER! VERY glad I read this book!

Very educating, really love the part of Angels and having some Angels Entergy placed in some of us. I havel been called an Angel many times, which I always answered, no I am just Man. Well from now on I will say, Thank You!

Very informative. I haven't practiced enough, but my daughter who recently passed has been very connected to me with signs and symbols, mostly in my sleep though. I do feel more of a connection since meditating moe.

This book was just what I needed on this subject. It provides you everything you need to begin your study of mediumship.

If you're already able to connect and sense when spirit is with you, this book will definitely help you develop your skills and provide solid evidential readings. However, I personally found this book to be lacking in substance on the mechanics of mediumship. It goes into quite a bit of depth on answering very specific questions about existence after parting from the physical plane, the soul vs spirit, and what to do AFTER you've established a connection like the frame work of a good evidential reading, setting boundaries with spirit and a good starting point for common symbols... But, as I said, when it came to actual mechanics of connecting... meditation, raising your vibration, connecting with spirit, feeling spirit, possible exercises (either solitary or in a group), developing your psychic dictionary... I was dissapointed as to the lack of content in this area as that's why I had purchased this book.

Very good read. Easier to tap into mediumship if you have a previous spiritual connection or trainings. I enjoyed it!

The best book on mediumship I've read to date. Systematic approach, good examples. She touches on: the structure of a reading, where to start, how to deal with certain issues, having empathy for the person asking for a reading, understanding the perspective from beyond the veil, using proper etiquette. Very useful instruction. A good place to start! Enjoy!

Mary-Anne is certainly a gifted instructor! I purchased and read this book as a prerequisite for attending Mary-Anne's mediumship classes - what an exciting experience! Not only does she guide us to safely and successfully connect with spirit, she is also a knowledgeable and experienced guide helping us with presentation for our volunteer sitters as well as mediumship etiquette.

The book was good, had resourceful information and interesting topics. I would recommend for someone who is starting or is curious about the subject of being a medium.
