Works as it should. Very pleased.

Many part broke after few times. Until that it was fun, kids enjoyed it and explored it. It drains the battery like any other battery powered toys. A good concept, but quality wise not great.

Like its other kits, fun builds with IKEA like instructions. A remake of the old Capsela toys of yesteryear. Again the materials could be of better quality, so have adult supervision when young children are handling the parts. They could break them easily.

We got this as part of the monthly stem club. My kids really enjoyed putting it together. I'm glad I read the other reviews about it breaking -- the cables were not built for kids to learn with. It's a great product -- I like how you can see the motor and gears -- I just wish it was a little more in depth. The lessons are great for an 8 - 9 year old, but the delicacy of the kit is more for a 10 - 11 year old. I'm not gong to send it back, the kids think it's cool, but I think there are better kits out there.

My five year old loves figuring out how to put the car together. However, the connectors are poor quality and the wheels keep falling off. Also the single AA battery does not give much power to the motor and the car hardly goes on a smooth flat floor and definitely not on any surface like carpet. Also, I was hoping that Wikipedia's review of IQ Key was accurate in that this set would be compatible with original Capsela sets from the 90s. The pieces are the exact same size and design as Capsela is, but the connectors are different and the capsules cannot be connected together.

The motors are underpowered. Once completed it wouldn’t move but once we removed the wheels the motor and gears would move. Very disappointing. Do not buy.

So fragile. Won’t stay together.

It was a great set and fun to build for the price but one of the motors ( I bought 2 sets) didn’t work
