I like the information aspect but I always want MORE information.

If you're rebuilding a 700-r4 transmission, this is the only reference book you will need to do the job. The illustrations are great and every part has a reference number so you can easily figure out what each piece is for. The thing I like best about this book is that it shows the differences between the year models of the 700-r4 so that you can do the job right. If you're modifying your 700-r4 then this book won't help much as it only references stock builds.

Haven’t used it for a rebuild yet, but I flipped through the book and let me tell you, it is VERY VERY detailed. It also has a page of tools you’ll need for a rebuild. Very nice quality, would buy again.
