No, always works well for me and it is SLS and Fluoride free. There are other alternatives out there that work really well also.

Does this contain >Sodium Lauryl Sulphate? can somebody confirm this for me.

No but it has Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate in it

Does this have a foil protection strip on top of tude?

I use the charcoal version and it has a foil protection strip.
