Bought this as a gift for our 84 year old friend. She enjoyed the complete building process. The instructions were clear and the detail was exceptional for the scale of the model. She has completed it and has it proudly displayed above her desk.

It’s a good easy model took me a few days to build love how it looks instructions aren’t great but if you look closely you can find the way usually good model

A must have for any model enthusiast. Will need to do some minor fitting on certain parts and instructions aren’t entirely accurate.

I would have given this 5 stars but when it came time to mount the decks into the hull I had to make some drastic modifications to make it fit, like removing the inside hull braces and cutting the tabs off the side pieces. The stand supports are also kinda flimsy - had to shore them up to keep the ship from sinking again. Otherwise it’s a usual good kit from Airfix. Paint and glue included. You will need a sharp knife to trip plastic from parts and I DARE you to build this kit without a pair of tweezers! Not recommended for beginners!!!

This is a nice model, HOWEVER be prepared for several mistakes in the instructions. It's easy to figure out what you're actually supposed to do.

Bought the first one from Amazon for $100.00 bucks. When it arrived, I found out they just placed a label on it, and the box got torn up very bad. One of the tubes of glue was punctured and glue was on some of the parts. I notified Amazon of this bad packing and the damage from the glue, and they immediately sent me a label to ship it back. The next day I got a refund So as far as I am concerned Amazon did an excellent job of correcting the problem. However, I noticed the next day the same model if the titanic was on sale for $60.00 bucks and I ordered another one. It arrived intact but 2/3rds in the build I discovered a tree containing 4 very important parts were missing. I contacted Aifix and they stated it will take at least 28 days to get the parts shipped if possible. It's been about 13 days and not a word. we'll see what happens. For $60 bucks for a model I would think I should get all the parts.
